You can find TotK Courser Bee Honey throughout Hyrule’s forests, but it’s not as simple as taking a hike through the countryside, I found. It can take some time to find it if you’re simply stumbling about in the woods.

The best and most reliable Courser Bee Honey location I discovered in my dozens of hours in Tears of the Kingdom is the area around Rutile Lake. You’ll even find a large tree that spawns 3 Courser Bee Honey here, but beware of the few Octorok that you’ll need to deal with at the base of the tree.

Rutile Lake can be found south of Satori Mountain and northwest of Dalite Forset. The large tree’s location is marked on the map above, and the exact coordinates are (-2467, -0727, 0209). I found 7 Courser Bee Honey in one visit to the region and even stumbled across a Bear that I managed to mount. So overall, the area is worth a visit if just for the unique mount.

How to Get TotK Courser Bee Honey Down from Trees

To get Courser Bee Honey down from trees, it’s best to shoot it with an arrow so that you can create some distance between you and the bees and not take damage. Once the hive drops, the bees will swarm, coming toward Link. You’ll need to hit them once with your primary weapon to get rid of them, or you can try to outrun them (a tactic that works sometimes but not always).

Does Courser Bee Honey Respawn?

The Courser Bee Honey will respawn after a Blood Moon event, which occurs after seven in-game days, or roughly three real-time hours. Unfortunately, you can’t trigger it by resting at a fire. However, drop a Travel Medallion in this location to quickly teleport over and farm Courser Bee Honey.
