How to Beat the Goblins and Gigas
Make your way to the tower and ignore the wolf enemy mobs along the way. Once you reach the spot, you’ll see several Goblin Muggers and a Gigas. The tiny Goblins should be no match for you, as they’re easily dealt with.
As for the Gigas, it’s akin to the creature that you fought during the flashback intro early in the campaign. Simply watch out for its slow but powerful blows with its club. Moreover, it will do a wind-up ability where it whirls around, which can potentially hit you multiple times if you time your dodges poorly. Just evade its attacks, then counter and combo with your own until you bring it down.
Once all the enemies have been defeated, you can open the chest, which contains the Final Fantasy 16 Demontamer’s Sash. It grants +48 defense and +14 HP. In my case, I acquired this later in the game, which means I had no use for it. However, if you’re still midway through the campaign, then the defensive boosts are certainly useful.
