There are six types of equipment in Street Fighter: Duel that you can get, including:

  • Gloves
  • Bracers
  • Vests
  • Boots
  • Necklaces
  • Rings

Each type of equipment has five rarities: Grey, Green, Blue, Purple, and Legendary. Equipment is obtained by completing each of the 30+ stages of the main story campaign beginning from the Grey rarity. The amount and type of equipment that players unlock are random.

The more stages you complete, the more equipment you unlock. Note that Blue rarity and above become available only after you complete Stage 4, and the drop chance is extremely rare.

You can also purchase equipment in the in-game store with Gems currency by tapping the “Shop” menu on the bottom of the screen, and selecting “General Store” tab.

Once you’ve unlocked a piece of equipment by completing a stage and claiming your rewards, you can add it to your character by following these steps:

  1. Go the game’s main menu.
  2. Tap on “Fighter” option.
  3. Tap on “Promote” button.
  4. Select “Equipment” feature.
  5. Either add equipment to each of the available slots manually by tapping “+ (plus)” button, or by tapping “Quick Equip” in the bottom of the screen for automatic selection.

Not all rarities of equipment can be upgraded, such as Grey and Green. Only equipment of Blue rarity and above can be upgraded. You can find which types of equipment you have by following these steps:

  1. Go the game’s main menu.
  2. Tap on “The Bag” option.
  3. Select “Equipment” tab.

Here you can sort out all your equipment by type and rarity for easier navigation. If you have equipment of Blue rarity and above, then you can upgrade it by doing the following:

  1. Add the desired piece of equipment to your character (as described above).
  2. Tap that piece of equipment once again in the fighter window.
  3. Select “Upgrade” option in the new window.

Note that each piece of equipment can be upgraded no more than three times. Once the quota is exhausted, the upgrade button will not be active any longer on that specific equipment.

That’s everything you need to know on how to get equipment and upgrade it in Street Fighter: Duel, and stay tuned for more related guides.
