Pokemon Unite Best Alolan Ninetails Builds

Three stunning Alolan Ninetails builds you can rely on in Pokemon Unite.

The second season of Pokemon Unite introduced a new attacker Alolan Ninetails. This fox-like Pokemon has a lot of power and is of course quite different from its basic Fire type. This guide will provide you with the best Alolan Ninetails builds in Pokeom Unite.

The builds listed below focus primarily on damage, stun effects, and AoE. Remember that all Alolan Ninetails builds should use Eject Button as your battle item, which can be unlocked at Trainer Level 11.

Dazzling Gleam + Aurora Veil Alolan Ninetails Build

Moveset Path

Your moveset path for this build should look like this:

  1. Powder Snow
  2. Icy Wind
  3. Dazzling Gleam
  4. Aurora Veil
  5. Snow Globe

Even as your first pick, Powder Snow is strong enough to stop enemies chasing you by slowing them down with the help of a freezing burst of ice.

Powder Snow can later be upgraded to Dazzling Glam that stuns enemies and deals damage to them.

Aurora Veil can be upgraded from Icy Wind move. This is an amazing offensive and defensive move that both increases the speed and damage of your team, as well as, reduces the damage you receive while under the protection of the veil.

Snow Globe is a unite move, which can be used as your finishing touch. Once you freeze your enemies, strike them with Snow Globe, dealing AoE damage, which will have a much higher offensive power on the frozen enemies.

Held Items

The best held items for this build are:

  • Wise Glasses
  • Shell Bell
  • Muscle Band

Wise Glasses increase the power of your special attacks by 7%, which also automatically increases your healing effects in conjunction with Shell Bell.

Shell Bell can restore your HP up to 75 points whenever you successfully execute any of your special attack abilities.

Muscle Band is great for basic attacks that gain 3% bonus damage of the opponent’s current HP levels.

Best Support Pokemon

This build works the best with such Pokemon like:

  • Snorlax
  • Eldegoss
  • Gengar

Avalanche + Blizzard Build Alolan Ninetails

Moveset Path

  1. Icy Wind
  2. Powder Snow
  3. Avalanche
  4. Blizzard
  5. Snow Globe

This time you can start with Icy Wind on Level 1 and switch to Powder Snow at level 3.

Then, upgrade Powder Snow to Avalanche, which literally freezes your enemies inside an icy wall. Once it melts, it starts dealing damage to them.

Since Avalanche synergizes perfectly with Blizzard, you can easily upgrade it from the Icy Wind move. Blizzard will deal more damage to enemies while they stay frozen inside the Avalanche wall. So always strive to execute these two moves one after the other for maximum damage.

Snow Globe will only add to an already high DPS output of the Avalanche + Blizzard combo.

Held Items

  • Choice Specs
  • Wise Glasses
  • Shell Bell

While most of your moves deal AoE damage, it would be good to use Choice Specs to also focus all your damage on a single strongest target. It adds 60 points of damage plus 40% of your special attack when it lands.

Wise Glasses and Shell Bell work really well together by increasing your special attack damage and restoring HP.

Best Support Pokemon

  • Absol
  • Cinderace
  • Snorlax

Dazzing Gleam + Blizzard Alolan Ninetails Build

Moveset Path

  • Powder Snow
  • Icy Wind
  • Dazzling Gleam
  • Blizzard
  • Snow Globe

This build is similar to the first one, but here it is recommended to upgrade Ice Wind to Blizzard instead of Aurora Veil. This switch gives you more power in the early game, but you will lose a bit of HP restoration bonus.

Here, the unite move Snow Globe also plays a much more important role than in the previous two builds, which is reflected in the held items you’ll be using.

Once you gain all the damage bonuses from Blizzard, use Snow Globe and your held items to snowball all of your attacks.

Held Items

  • Buddy Barrier
  • Energy Amplifier
  • Focus Band

Energy Amplifier is your main producer of extra damage for the unite move. It’s only a short burst, but the bonus damage is enough to finish off any frozen Pokemon.

Buddy Barrier will protect you when using Snow Globe with a special shield, making you a lot harder to damage.

Focus Band will restore your HP by 14% for three seconds, which is enough to stay alive in dire situations.

Best Support Pokemon

  • Lucario
  • Machamp
  • Garchomp
