This guide will walk you through the Sword Cemetery quest in Genshin Impact from beginning to end. It includes map locations for all of the quest’s treasure chests.

Speak to Dr. Livingston

Dr. Livingston can be found at the large lake in Dadaupa Gorge, Mondstadt, in the eastern part of Teyvat. She will ask you to break the tri-seal for the sword cemetery located in the center of a large lake.

As the name suggests, the tri-seal is actually three separate seals located in three different locations indicated on the map below.

The red dot in the lake represents Dr. Livingston and the Sword Cemetery. The other three dots represent the seal locations.

Southwest Seal Location

To the southwest of Dadaupa Lake, you will find a small pond with an Electro monument in the middle, as well as a precious chest.

Here you need to defeat the Wooden Shield Mitachurl boss. This enemy protects itself with a big shield, so try to attack it from behind and focus on its open areas not protected by the shield.

As soon as you’re done with the Mitachurl boss, the first seal will break in a short cutscene.

Southeast Seal Location

To the southeast of the lake, you will find a small village with a Pyro monument.

Here you need must defeat three types of enemies:

  1. Wooden Shield Mitachurl
  2. Shamachurl
  3. Cryo Abyss Mage

After defeating them, the seal will break and spawn a precious chest.

Northern Seal Location

To the north of the lake, you will find a battle arena protected by the Cryo monument.

Here you will fight three rounds of enemies:

  1. 5x Slimes
  2. 5x Shamachurls
  3. Wooden Shield Mitachurl

Survive all three rounds. and the third seal will be broken. It will spawn two common chests and two exquisite chests.

Sword Cemetery Rewards

You can now go back to the central lake and open the chest that was protected by the tri-seal, which contains:

  • Northlander Claymore Prototype
  • A random 4-star artifact
  • Mystic Enhancement Ore
