There’s nothing quite like being able to leave your living room and take whatever you’re playing on the go. In addition to the platform’s unique exclusives, many people enjoy having the portable experience with different third-party titles on the Nintendo Switch. Will Hogwarts Legacy be on Nintendo Switch?
Hogwarts Legacy is not currently available to play on the Nintendo Switch, but the good news is that it will eventually be playable on the console. Hogwarts Legacy has a staggered release schedule, and that means it’s launching across platforms on different dates. Nintendo fans will, unfortunately, be waiting for a while until they can attend the famous magic school and learn many of the popular spells from the franchise.
When is Hogwarts Legacy Coming to Nintendo Switch?
According to the official Hogwarts Legacy FAQ page and various retailers, July 25, 2023, is the date the new Wizarding World adventure is set to land on the Nintendo Switch. Both the Standard Edition and Deluxe Edition will be available for the platform.
Those looking to dive into the Wizarding World sooner can do so on February 10 on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S platforms. Alternatively, they can play on the same platforms right now if they bought the Deluxe or physical Collector’s Edition of Hogwarts Legacy.
Previous generation console owners will have to wait as well, but not as long as Nintendo Switch owners. Hogwarts Legacy will launch across the PS4 and Xbox Series X|S platforms on April 4th, 2023.
How Will Hogwarts Legacy Run on Nintendo Switch?
Since Hogwarts Legacy is a high-fidelity open-world game with a big install size, some are beginning to wonder how it’s going to run on the typically underpowered console. There’s currently been no mention of what the expected performance will be nor if it will be running as a cloud version.
