10 BitLife Expansions and Job Packs We’d Love to See

Expansions and Job Packs that would be fun to have added to BitLife!

BitLife adds content through Packs that can be purchased in the Marketplace for extra jobs and activities that your virtual characters can then participate in. Recent additions include the Cult Pack and Model Job pack, but here are 10 more BitLife expansions that we’d love to see in the future.

10 BitLife Expansions and Job Packs That Should Be Added in the Future

Job packs make careers more in-depth with additional options, and existing careers — like modeling — can be shifted into job packs and expanded upon. There’s already a plethora of content out there, and if you’re like me, you may have already run through them all. So what’s on the horizon? We don’t know yet for sure, but these are the things I’d love to see added to the game as expansions or Packs.

10. Expanded Acting Pack

The Actor Job Pack already includes the ability to audition for TV shows and Movies, and lets you hire an agent to find auditions for you. However, the variety of gigs available to actors in our world is much greater than just TV and Movies. And it can make stats aside from Looks more important when becoming an actor in BitLife.

Acting isn’t limited to the screen in real life, and adding voice acting as a BitLife expansion could require characters to be proficient with Acting and Voice Skills. Then, there’s the possibility of being a Broadway actor or even taking gigs at local theaters to start out.

I’d also enjoy an option to star in multiple projects at once in BitLife, which could then require a more in-depth schedule function to balance film requirements with a level of difficulty that varies depending on the type of role the character has (bit role, leading, etc.). There’s just a lot of potential for acting that hasn’t yet been tapped.

9. Expanded Sports Pack

Similarly, the Athlete Special Career could be expanded. Your options for sports as a pro athlete are basically basketball, football, soccer, and other traditional sports. However, there’s a huge variety of sports that aren’t included, from skateboarding to gymnastics and figure skating. Plus, adding these sports is also an opportunity to add the Olympics to BitLife. Then, my character could not only be a pro athlete, but an Olympian as well! As for esports, well, I’d argue for an entirely separate expansion in that case.

8. Esports Job Pack

Adding Esports into the Pro Athlete Pack isn’t entirely fitting. However, with its popularity, it should be a consideration for future BitLife Job Packs. The closest you can get right now is being a Social Media Star through gaming videos on YouTube or gaming streams on Twitch. However, that doesn’t include the competitive aspect that makes esports different.

Features for this expansion could include entering tournaments, improving performance like you can in the Pro Athlete career, choosing which game to play and which team to be on (if it’s a team game), and streaming could be more specialized here than for characters just streaming games as social media stars. Overall, I think there’s a lot of potential here for a career that’s unique. And it’s popular in real life as a role that people might dream of having.

7. Espionage Pack

Speaking of Job Packs, why not let us become spies with an Espionage Job Pack? This could include choosing missions to take, arranging disguises, and even using minigames similar to the Prison Escape game to get out of situations where your cover is at risk of being blown. I would even love seeing what sort of pop-up situations could come from being a spy in BitLife.

Plus the country you’re born in could affect your jobs. Given the nature of being a spy, there could be requirements before you’re hired like a degree in a technology field or a foreign language. It also opens up the chance to add in more skills that Bitizens can learn, including foreign languages, costume design, make-up, and more.

6. Career Change Pack

Right now, you can sort of change careers. You can quit your job and pick up a different one. But that’s a lot harder if you want a job that requires a degree different from the one that you have, if you have one. A BitLife pack like this could include training programs and the option to go back to university to get a different degree.

Another feature could be the addition of opportunities that let you shift to a different department in the same company. Or you could take an apprenticeship to learn skills that you can use to start a new career path. Aside from adding more options throughout each lifespan, this could open up some fun challenges that require you to be in wildly different careers during your life.

5. Magic Pack

When I say magic, I don’t mean a pack for magicians (sorry to any aspiring Phil Dunphys out there). I mean a pack that lets you create a character who practices spellcraft and rituals, whether those have actual effects in-game or not. However, it could be like praying to the devs or meditating where you have a chance to increase luck, stats, karma, and such. Having the chance to cast love spells could lead to interesting pop-up encounters.

And there could even be a feature to create a coven, which could be built on a similar system to communes. Since there are already exorcists and ghosts in-game, adding witches (or warlocks, if you prefer) isn’t that far fetched.

4. Storyteller Pack

One thing that needs to be changed is that you can only write memoirs about yourself when you’re famous. And even then, you can’t always find a publisher. However, in reality, anybody can write a book and self-publish it, at least. It might not sell well, but it’s possible to do.

You could also find a literary agent and submit manuscripts to publishers for traditional publishing. It’d also open up Author as a special career possibility. Writer is an option in the Job Listings, but a Storyteller Pack would let any Bitizen express their creativity through writing. And maybe turn that into an involved career.

3. House Flipper Pack

There’s already all the groundwork in-game for a House Flipper Pack. You can do similar things by purchasing a house, renovating it, and then selling it. However, I think it could be made into a full Job Pack using features from other packs like the Landlord Expansion and the auctions from the Black Market Expansion.

There could be auctions for houses that were foreclosed or seized. I would also suggest a minigame that decides how well each repair goes, something along the lines of Tetris would be particularly fitting. While it wouldn’t be groundbreakingly different from what’s already available in BitLife, it’d provide more options regarding properties.

2. Off the Grid Pack

We can make Armageddon cults, but there’s no option to go live fully off the grid, using resources and building structures for resources like solar power, rain gathering, or farmlands for food. But it wouldn’t need to be on the scale of a cult, either. It could be an option for a family, or just a single person, to go off the grid and live in the woods, surviving off the land. Not only would it be an interesting new way to have a Bitizen live, it’d open up some possibilities for potentially difficult challenges.

1. Hobby Pack

The only time that we get close to having hobbies in BitLife are through activities during school years, instrument and martial arts lessons, gardening, going to the casino or horse races, and going clubbing. Under the Activities section, there could be Hobbies as its own category, letting you participate in activities like knitting, Dungeons and Dragons, board games, and other hobbies.

This BitLife expansion could act as a way to increase Stats, particularly Happiness, and build relationships if they involve other people. Overall, it’d be nice to have another way to increase Happiness, and hobbies would be a perfect solution.

And that covers 10 BitLife expansions and Job Packs we’d love to see. I enjoy that it’s a game that’s still growing, and that it still has plenty of potential for growth in the future. Until then, check out our guide hub for related topics like how to complete the Doom and Gloom challenge or how to become a model with the new Model Job Pack.
