Don’t celebrate too soon, as they have one more trick up their sleeve which could completely obliterate your team’s chances of survival. In this guide, we’ll look at how to defuse the bomb in Predator Hunting Grounds.
Just like in the movies, the Predator can actually activate a self-destruct sequence if not taken down quickly enough. Once they’re on their knees, you only have a small window to completely obliterate them while they attempt to set the device and ruin your chances of getting out alive.
You can run faster than the wind and hightail out of there, but if you’re feeling brave enough and have the speed to do it, you can actually disarm the bomb, resulting in a quick victory.
How to Defuse the Bomb in Predator Hunting Grounds
First, you want to completely down the Predator. They will be on their knees in a downed state but still able to activate their self-destruct sequence. Keep laying down the firepower to completely incapacitate them.
Aim for their helmet to remove it and fire at their head to kill them. After they’ve armed the bomb and they’re dead, you have two choices:
- Run as fast as you can out of the zone
- Try to disarm the bomb
If you choose to disarm the bomb, then investigate the body. A prompt will appear to interact with the body. Hold the prompt button, and you’ll have a chance to disarm the bomb.
This is where the tricky part comes in, and it demands your full focus and absolute speed. You’ll be presented with a matching mini-game that must quickly be completed if you want any hope of survival and a match win.
Defuse the Bomb Mini-Game
It’s a simple matching mini-game, but the short time frame can make it highly stressful.
The bottom bar will have a symbol and the top box will allow you to scroll through and find the appropriate corresponding symbol. Once you’ve secured the correct matching symbol, press the prompt on screen to lock it in.
The mini-game consists of four symbols that must be matched within a matter of seconds. If the timer runs out, the bomb will go off and your team in the radius will not survive. Complete the mini-game, and you’ll defuse the bomb and secure a win.
