Pokemon has been one of the most popular children's games since the 90s. It started with Pokemon Red and Green in 1996 with Blue releasing later that same year. That was the start of one of the most popular video game series of the last 20 years.
With the addition of Pokemon Sword and Shield, the total number of different forms of pokemon is over 1,000. Two new forms have been added to Sword and shield add new ways to make your pokemon more powerful. The player uses dynamax candy to make their pokemon stronger and when it gets to a certain point the pokemon will turn into a gigantamax. Gigantamaxing changes the size, look, and stats of your pokemon in battle.
