In this guide, we’ll show you where to find the White Dye Merchant, what he offers, and how to get the crafting materials for those items.

White Dye Merchant’s Location

A black and white map showing the location of the white dye merchant in Wanderer's Pass.

The White Dye Merchant is located in Wanderer’s Pass, which is to the northwest of Kashine Forest and east of Kashine Hills. This area is in the northwestern sector of Izuhara. Use the image above to pinpoint his location.

When you arrive at Wanderer’s Pass, you’ll need to climb up to the top of a large hill, and look for a wooden structure where you’ll find the merchant. He’s close to a Bamboo Strike point, next to a fire.

The nice thing is that once you’ve located him, you can fast travel to the merchant from then on. Also, keep in mind there is another Dye Merchant who sells black dyed items, but we’ll cover that in a separate guide.

Purpose of White Dye Merchant

So now you’ve found the White Dye Merchant. Go up to him (grab the flowers right next to him first) and talk to him by pressing “R2”. Here, you’ll see a list of items he offers, from bows to various armor types.

When you make your selection, be aware of the cost of the item, as these merchants don’t use regular money. For example, the Ronin Attire Armor costs 10 flowers. Hold “X” to craft and purchase the armor.

Finding Flowers to Craft White Dyed Equipment

Always pick up flowers as you make your way between quests or while you’re exploring the world of Ghost of Tsushima. You don’t even have to get off your horse to grab them  simply press “R2” to collect flowers.

Flowers are found throughout the world, but if you need to get a large number of them quickly, head to the Shinto Shrines. Here, you’ll find lots of flowers, as long as you’re willing to climb to the top.

There are various Merchants that have the capability to dye your equipment other colors, too. So if white isn’t your style, search for locations that feature Merchants that sell Vanity Gear.
