Our guide will help you understand how to find Secret Stash locations in Weird West. Not all treasure hunts are the same, and some can be revealed only by a certain character.

How to Find Secret Stash in Weird West

Since treasure hunts are entirely procedurally-generated, you never know how and where you will get one. But there are a few places where these quests pop up more frequently, and they are:

  • Treasure maps dropped by the mobsters
  • Looting containers

Once you pick up and read the treasure map from one of these places, you’ll get a message about the active treasure hunt, which will put a question mark icon on your world map.

Note that these locations are also procedurally-generated, which means that the treasure will not be in the same spot every time you start a new campaign.

In order to dig up the Secret Stash contents, you need to follow these tips:

  1. Travel to the question mark icon on the map.
  2. Locate a place with the following markings:
    • Mounds marked by white letter “X”
    • Circles of rocks, plants, or trees
  3. Defeat all enemies in the area, if present.
  4. Use the shovel to dig up the stash.

There are also special Profane Treasure Maps that can be randomly dropped by enemies. But these maps can only be opened by Constance Driftwood, one of the playable characters in Weird West, who owns the Profane Linguistic Affliction ability, which is required to read these types of maps.

In either case, once you find Secret Stash, you will get the following loot in random quantities:

  • Nimp Relics
  • Golden Aces of Spades
  • Copper Nuggets
  • Silver Nuggets
  • Gold Nuggets
  • Coins
