ARK: Genesis Guide — How to Get All New Weapons

Here are the locations and crafting recipes of all five new weapons in the ARK: Genesis expansion.

ARK: Genesis is an expansion that offers five new weapons, most of which are Tek-tier weapons. This means that in order to craft them and be able to use them, players need to obtain their Tekgrams first. This guide will show you how to get all these new weapons and their corresponding Tekgrams.

If you don’t want to spend time beating bosses and getting all the Tekgrams, then you can just use cheat commands, which are also available in our guide below.

Cruise Missile

Ark Genesis cruise missile.

Cruise Missile allows players to shoot a controlled missile and manually guide it towards the target.

To use this weapon, you need to have its Tekgram, which can be obtained only after defeating the final boss of the game: Corrupted Master Controller (Alpha).

After learning the Tekgram, you can craft Cruise Missile with the following recipe:

  • Polymer x212
  • Metal Ingot x256
  • Crystal x160
  • Element x14
  • Black Pearl x26
  • Electronics x128

Cheat command: “cheat GFI TekCruiseMissile 1 0 0″

Flaming Spear

Ark Genesis Flaming Spear.

Flaming Spear is the only new weapon in the Genesis expansion that doesn’t require a Tekgram. But you also cannot craft it.

The only way to obtain Flaming Spear is to complete the Gauntlet mission in the Bog Biome. This weapon spawns near the mission terminal.

Cheat command: “cheat giveitem “Blueprint’/Game/Genesis/CoreBlueprints/Weapons/Mission/PrimalItem_WeaponSpear_Flame_Gauntlet.PrimalItem_WeaponSpear_Flame_Gauntlet'” 1 0 0

Tek Claws

Ark Genesis Tek Claws.

This is the first weapon of its kind in ARK, and it can block attacks. Although its melee capabilities are rather limited, the damage can be increased by chaining hits.

The Tekgram for Tek Claws can be obtained from Corrupted Master Controller (Gamma).

  • Polymer x160

  • Crystal x184
