Gathering collectables is a valuable source of EXP to the leveling miner or botanist in Final Fantasy XIV, and the primary method of gaining Yellow and White Gatherer’s Scrips. Seeking out collectables is well-worth the minimal hassle.
In this guide. we’re going to go over miner collectables, with the collectable system opening up at level 50 for new miners and botanists. Your efforts with this system will start in Mor Dhona, with the Collectable Appraiser NPC.
Like other sorts of timed nodes, collectables can mostly only be obtained at certain times of day (in Eorzean Time, or ET). You’ll want to make friends with the /alarm function to set timers for nodes you would like to collect, so you don’t have to stare at the clock while you wait.
Collecting is itself a relatively easy minigame, but it can be GP-intensive. Be sure to bring along Cordials and Hi-cordials if you are on the hunt for collectables specifically or a mix between them and other timed mining nodes, so you can stay on top of your efforts.
In the tables below, the minimum Collectability at which a Collectable Appraiser will accept the items is listed, along with the number of scrips you’ll be granted if you turn them in at maximum (1000) Collectability.
Underneath the names of the collectables below are the closest Aetherytes for you to teleport to, as well as the spawn times. Collectables spawn twice a day for two hours at a time, 12 hours apart.
Provided you have Truth of the Mountains enabled, you will be notified of these nodes when you enter an area as miner or botanist (enable Truth of the Mountains for cross-class in the Actions & Traits menu under Additional).
