If you’re hosting a game, you can select a new game or to continue one you’ve already made.

For a new game, you’ll select a difficulty, with the option for a custom difficulty. A custom difficulty allows you to decide details like enemy stats, seasons and their lengths, and if you want to take damage from starvation or dehydration.

You’ll then name your new server, choose the number of players you want to allow in a room (2-8), and decide if you want to limit your server to only players on your friends list.

How to Invite Friends

Then, you can start your server and either wait for others to join or invite your friends in the server lobby before you begin the game by using the “Invite Friends” option at the bottom of the screen. Otherwise, you can tell them your server’s name for them to search in the Join screen if they can’t hop on the game right away.
