But the sheer number of mods available may put new (or even returning) players in the unenviable position of deciding which mods to install first. Our guide will help you and provide you with a list of the best Farming Simulator 22 mods of all time.

Best Farming Simulator 22 Mods

Place Anywhere Mod

One of the biggest restrictions in Farming Simulator 22 is the structure limit, which won’t let you place your structures too close to each other. This creates a lot of underused terrain that could otherwise bring in additional profits.

The Place Anywhere mod fixes this issue and lets you place structures as close to each other as you want. Of course, you need to be aware of such complications like exhaust pipes, but other than that, you’re basically free to do whatever you want with your land.

Government Subsidy Mod

Money is another huge concern that players need to monitor during their farming ventures carefully. There are plenty of risky money cheats online, but if you want to stay safe and still use those extra bucks for your farm, then the Government Subsidy mod would be the best choice.

It provides you with two types of subsidies, both available for a single in-game year:

  • Government Subsidy: $100,000,000
  • Municipal Subsidy: $100,000

Guidance Steering Mod

If you’re tired of manually driving your farm equipment, then install this mod for some super convenient automated Guidance Steering that utilizes GPS technology.

To use this mod correctly, you’ll first need to purchase the GPS for $15,000; then, you can set up two types of field tracking:

  • From point A to point B
  • From point A to heading

Once you’ve purchased the GPS for your vehicle, press ALT+C to enable the Guidance Steering menu and CTRL+S to open the mod menu.

No Man’s Land Mod

Have you ever wanted to build your farm on a No Man’s Land? This mod allows you to set up an entire farming empire in the middle of nowhere. You’ll have to remove all the trees and rocks to set up a basic camp, but once it’s done, you’ll have the following opportunities:

  • Gold Production
  • Lime Production
  • Methane Production
  • Flower Nursery Greenhouse
  • Mushroom Greenhouse

AutoDrive Mod

If you liked the Guidance Steering mod, then you’ll enjoy this one as well. While Guidance Steering allows you to set up automatic tracking on any given field, this AutoDrive mod allows you to automatically drive your vehicle to the field, shop, or any other point on the map.

This mod works with all types of vehicles, including helicopters, harvesters, tractors, and more. But you’ll also need to get a GPS for your vehicle if you want it to work properly.

Courseplay Mod

You can do a lot more in Farming Simulator 22 than just program routes from point A to point B. The Courseplay mod, for example, allows you to automate far more complex tasks, including:

  • Manage your silage bunkers.
  • Take your crops directly to sale points.
  • Manage your seed harvesting.
  • Manage your farm’s plowing and cultivation.
  • Move and unload the crop harvesters.
  • Remove grass from the fields.

Money Tool Mod

If you’re desperate for money but you don’t want to use the Government Subsidy mod listed above, then the Money Tool mod is your next best option.

Once installed, join any farm and press “Ctrl+Alt+0” (zero at the end) key combination, and $1,000,000 will be immediately deposited into your bank account.

If your game doesn’t load after adding the money to your account, simply uninstall the mod, and your game should be fixed. The money will still be present on your account.

4X Empty Map Mod

Some players just want to start their farm on an undisturbed piece of land that has nothing except an empty field. This mod simply adds a 4X Empty Map where you can bring or place any vehicle or structure of your choice.

You can start from scratch any time you want and see what kind of farm you can build using this popular sandbox-type mod.

GIANTS Editor Mod

This mod lets you create your own Farming Simulator 22 mods.

If you can’t find a mod for your specific needs in the game, then go ahead and install the GIANTS Editor mod, and you can easily add or adjust any gameplay element that you see fit.

There’s an excellent manual that comes with the package, which you can use in order to create a perfect farming game for yourself.
