With Daisy Duck’s new Boutique in Disney Dreamlight Valley and the addition of Boutique Challenges, you’re probably looking for some new designs to wear or some inspiration to design your own. Here are some of the best Touch of Magic designs I’ve encountered from talented players.
10 Best Disney Dreamlight Valley ToM Designs
Touch of Magic is a fun feature in Disney Dreamlight Valley that allows you to design your own clothing and accessories using some themed motifs and patterns. Now that we have Daisy’s Boutique, we can put those items on display and even sell them to our friends. Here are some of the best designs from other players that you can use as inspiration!
Celestial Dress
This Celestial Dress is an extravagant design from Capable_Dark_6177 on Reddit. It pairs perfectly with the Celestial Wings and Crown accessories with a smooth gradient fade of purples and white, wispy clouds. Plus, they’ve tied in shimmering gold outlines and stars. It looks like they’re meant to be together.
Harry Potter Outfit
For Harry Potter fans out there, you’ll love this Harry Potter Outfit from Emotional_Ad9724. They recreated the Deathly Hallows symbol on a shirt and matched it to the Wizard hat with dark blue clouds and stars. They added a short black skirt and high socks to make it look like a school uniform and round glasses that resemble Harry’s as a nice cherry on top.
Esmeralda Dress
Some of my favorite designs recreate the iconic fits from some of our favorite Disney characters. This Esmeralda Dress from The_Curious_Rat is one of the best I’ve seen. It matches Esmeralda’s dress from Hunchback of Notre Dame, with the blue waistband and the tied apron with the hanging medallions. They even threw in her gold bangle bracelets.
Alice in Wonderland Dress
On the topic of designs recreating Disney characters, some are other great designs from Cherry_Crescent. You can look just like Alice in Wonderland in this knee-length blue dress and white apron. They added some fresh flair with some little details at the bottom of the apron and dress, but it still screams Alice all the way.
Medieval Blue Dress
It amazes me what creators can accomplish in this simple Touch of Magic customization, and Latterosa_4_0_4, in particular, really had my jaw on the floor. This Blue Dress gives medieval princess vibes with the off-the-shoulder top and ties across the waist. It takes true talent even to accomplish an off-the-shoulder look since it requires matching the top of the dress to your skin tone, and this one is seamless.
Themed Bow & Ears
Even though most of the designs I encounter are dresses, these Themed Bow & Ears mixed things up and impressed me just as much. Each of them is themed for a particular Disney movie or pattern and is carefully decorated to account for every little detail. The UP and Haunted Mansion ones are my very favorites, and would look great with other themed clothing.
Rainbow Fox Dress
The Rainbow Fox Dress is by far the most colorful and vibrant of the bunch, with all the colors of the rainbow fading into each other from top to bottom. If you’re looking for something to match to your colorful rainbow critter, this dress can help you do that. MsD4nnyHuntress shows it off with a pair of their own fox ears and face makeup to complete the look.
Aurora Dress
Another excellent Disney character-inspired design is Dramatic-Ad4659’s Aurora Dress. This resembles Aurora’s simple but adorable forest dress with neutral brown, black, and white colors and all its stunning details. It pairs nicely with a black choker and matching black headband. This creator also has a version of her iconic pink princess dress as well.
Meme Dress
If you’re not looking to take yourself too seriously, then Skissored’s Meme Dress is the inspiration for you. This dress features the hilarious elmo on fire meme, all by using the shapes and other motifs available. This isn’t the only meme the creator designs. They recreate all sorts of memes like Homer Simpson, Mike and Sully, Pikachu, and more. That takes some major dedication.
Peter Pan Dress
In terms of creativity, this Peter Pan Dress takes the cake. The creator, CikiarielaR, creates a full Peter Pan scene across the dress, featuring Tinker Bell and the North Star at the top, Hook’s pirate ship, and even a mermaid amidst the colorful waves. It’s like wearing a scene straight out of the movie.
These are just a few of the amazing Touch of Magic designs I’ve seen, but there are so many others out there.
