Should You Kill the Animal Boss?
At the end of the first major encounter with the animals, you’ll have a choice on whether to kill the Animal boss or not. This isn’t a hugely important decision. But there are benefits if you pick correctly. You can interrogate or kill the boss.

- If you kill him, you get a legendary weapon.

Each choice has a different outcome. Saying the NCPD covered it up will cause Peralez to relax. Choosing Rhyne was murdered by a Brain Dance will cause Jefferson to ask you who did it.
Should You Tell the Truth About the Murder?

- Police
Choosing Holt won’t be a shock and is a rather unsatisfying choice to end the mission. Saying no idea is a little bit more fun, as it causes Elizabeth to ask her husband to stay careful. It’s a bit cruel for sure, but depending on your morality choices at this point, you could leave them uneasy.
The best choice here is to say Police, and that they reopened the case to put their minds at ease that the killer will be brought to light eventually. This finally ends this twisting and turning side quest.
