Disney Dreamlight Valley: Heart of a Lioness Walkthrough

Disney Dreamlight Valley‘s Pride of the Valley update brings Nala and a brand new questline with her. Once you’ve reached friendship level 7, you’ll be able to learn more about the mystical rifts appearing in the Valley. Here you’ll find all you need to know to complete the Heart of a Lioness quest.

How to Complete Heart of a Lioness

First and foremost, you’ll need to reach Friendship level 7 with Nala. You can get there by gifting her items and completing her previous Fishy Business and  Stake Your Territory quest. 

Heart of a Lioness requires Dazzle Beach (1,000 Dreamlight), Frosted Heights (10,000 Dreamlight), and the Glade of Trust (5,000 Dreamlight). We recommend asking Nala to hangout for the duration of the quest.

• Once you reach level 7 and complete the subsequent quests, talk to Nala. She’ll tell you that fish are disappearing from the Valley and she needs your help with the mystical rifts problem.

• Nala will ask you to collect fish for Moana, Remy, and Donald. The quest specifically says collect, not catch, so you can try to get the fish from Moana’s boat or your storage if you have it. Here’s what you’ll need to gather:
  • Moana: 1 Swordfish (Dazzle Beach, orange ripple)
  • Remy: 2 Crab (Frosted Heights, white ripple)
  • Donald: 3 Tuna (Glade of Trust, Forgotten Lands, white ripple)
• If you need to fish for them, you’ll save some time by asking a fishing buddy to hangout for this part. You’ll receive bonus fish for doing so.Once you’ve collected all of the fish, bring them to Moana, Remy, and Donald.

• Talk to Nala. Nala will tell you that she remembers a stone tablet from her Valley home, Pride Rock, that looks like the Lioness Statues. Head to her home of Pride Rock and locate the stone tablet on the wall, interact with it.
• A memory orb will drop from the stone tablet, pick it up. You’ll see a diagram of how the Lioness Statues are made. 
• Talk to Nala, and she’ll tell you that the Statues require the heart of a lioness for bravery. You’ll need to make 3 Enchanted Hearts next. 

Enchanted Hearts Recipe

• 3 Weird Fish (Caught in Mystical Rift fishing spots: Frosted Heights, Dazzle Beach, and Glade of Trust)
• 9 Dream Shards 
• Item borrowed from Minnie (We’ll go into that just below)

• You’ll need to find Minnie and talk to her, she’ll give you her bow that she wore in the Here and There so that the enchantment works.
• Once you’ve gathered all of the materials, head to any crafting station. You will find the Enchanted Hearts recipe under the Potion & Enchantment tab.
• Bring the 3 Enchanted Hearts to Nala. She’ll tell you she finally remembers why the statues look like her: they needed the heart and bravery of a lioness to work.

• Nala will keep the statues close by to make the magic work and help fix the mystical rift problem in the Valley. You’ve now completed the Heart of a Lioness quest!
