Best Early Game Team Composition

  • Front row:
    • Iugo
    • Garr
    • Nowa
  • Back row:
    • Francesca
    • Mellore
    • Yusuke

Although Iugo is classified as a supporting character in the game, his taunting counterattack is massive, and that’s why I’d always put him in front of my party. His front-line damage can get really high early on. Garr is a fantastic early tank who can absorb tons of damage and protect the team. Finally, you want Nowa in front for his pure damage, as well as a rune that grants him 50% extra strength.

The best early healer in the game is definitely Francesca, but she can also deal lots of magical damage, so be sure to recruit her as soon as you can. Mellore is a pure magical DPS, which will help and support Francesca when she’s busy healing your party. As for Yusuke, I think he can be either in front instead of Nowa or in the back as a defender for both Francesca and Mellore. His charge attack is super strong for an early character.

Best Mid Game Team Composition

  • Front row:
    • Iugo
    • Sabine
    • Yusuke
  • Back row:
    • Momo
    • Isha
    • Lam

In the midgame, I wouldn’t touch Iugo and keep him going in the front row, as his general stat growth is very good. But when it comes to the rest of the front row, I definitely would pick up Sabine, who can deal so much damage with her dual swords and triple slash attacks. Also, I decided to put Yusuke at the front this time instead of Nowa due to his charged attacks.

If you can get Momo, then be sure to place him in the back row for his extra strong magical abilities, such as Inferno Pillars that deal a whopping 1,200 points of damage. I’d also swap Francesca for Isha, who’s a much better supporter in the midgame. An old lady Lam is very similar to Francesca in regard to the fact that she can both heal the team and deal critical damage when needed.

Best End Game Team Composition

  • Front row:
    • CJ
    • Elektra
    • Wayve
  • Back row:
    • Momo
    • Isha
    • Seign

When it comes to the late game, there are many great options, but I still believe that CJ is the only good alternative to Iugo. Her remarkable powers are just too good to ignore, so get her whenever you can. Elektra may seem like an odd choice, but she’s one of the few characters who can carry an Armor Break rune, which is simply indispensable in the late game. The same goes for Wayve with his Armor Pierce rune.

The back row trio is almost the same as before, but I swapped Lam for Seign to complete the circle of healers and supporters who can also deal lots of magical damage when needed. Seign is very fast at healing and buffing allies, as well as comboing out when needed to deal with groups of enemies.
