The Mothman Equinox Event has returned and with it unique rewards. Here's a full list detailing what you'll get.

The Mothman Equinox Event is upon us again in Fallout 76. With Enlightened Cultists swarming to summon the cryptid, Point Pleasant has gone from Cultist haven to warzone, with conflicting sects fighting for dominance. New ritual alters have been erected, pyres built, and shrines decorated for the Enlightened Mothman.

The Mothman Equinox event ends May 9 at 12 p.m. EST/9 a.m. PST, and simply taking part will net you some Cultist and Mothman-themed rewards. But there’s more to uncover for killing Cultists and lighting pyres. Below, we’ve collected a list of the rewards you can expect to get and what you’ll need to do to get them. 

Mothman Equinox Event Rewards

At the start of every hour, the Mothman Equinox public event will begin at Point Pleasant on top of the Mothman Museum. By completing the event, you have the chance to earn the following rewards: 

  • Mothman Equinox Souvenir Beer Stein Plan 
  • Wise Mothman Throne Plan
  • Cultist Backpack Plan 
  • Cultist Enlightened Robe
  • Cultist Adept Clothes
  • Cultist Neophyte Clothes
  • Cultist Enlightened Hood
  • Cultist Adept Hood
  • Cultist Neophyte Hood
  • Cultist Incarnate Helmet

How well you do during the event will impact the rewards you’ll receive at the end.

  • Lighting 1 Pyre during the event will give you: 
    • 300 XP
    • 40 Caps
    • 1 Legendary Core
    • Mothman Equinox Item (15% drop chance)
  • Lighting 2 Pyres:
    • 300 XP
    • 40 Caps
    • 2 Legendary Core
    • Mothman Equinox Item (50% drop chance)
  • Lighting 3 Pyres:
    • 500  XP
    • 60 Caps
    • 3 Legendary Core
    • 3-Star Legendary Item
    • Mothman Equinox Item

No matter your performance in the Mothman Equinox Event, you’ll receive the following guaranteed items:

  • Large Goody Bag
  • 3 Treasury Notes
  • Plan: Mothman Equinox Beer Stein
  • 1-Star Legendary Item

If you decide to wander around Point Pleasant during this time, keep an eye out for Cultist High Priests. Killing them will earn you a Cultist High Priest Pack, which can contain:

  • Cultist Elder Clothes
  • Cultist Elder Helmet

The Cultist High Priest Pack is the only way to obtain these outfit items. Along with the clothes, Cultist High Priests have a chance to drop Perfect Mothman Eggs, which can be used during the Mothman Equinox event.
