Haunted Shelter Competition

The Haunted Shelter Competition is a new addition to the festivities this year. Lasting until Oct 27, submit your photos of your spooky shelter for consideration in the contest. Winners will be announced on October 31. The top five spookiest C.A.M.P.s will be rewarded:

  • First Place: Atoms x7,600
  • Second and Third Place: Atoms x5,000

The full details are listed on the official Discord server, along with the submission page for your screenshots.

Beware, the costumed Spooky Scorched will wander the Wasteland once more from October 24 until November 7. Trick or Treat!

Along with slaying Spooky Scorched for loot, there’s the Trick or Treat! part of the event. If you’ve never participated before, you want to claim your Spooky Candy Bowl in the Atomic Shop, then add it to your C.A.M.P. Fill it with Mystery Candy for other players to take as they visit various shelters throughout Appalachia.

Halloween Themed Challenges

While it’s fun to clear away dressed up Scorched from the wasteland, there’s a purpose behind it all. Themed challenges revolving around the Spooky Scorched will start to appear for both dailies and weeklies. No new challenges are confirmed for the Halloween 2023 event.

Dailies

  • Kill 5 Spooky Scorched
  • Build Spooky Candy Bowl and give out candy from your C.A.M.P.
  • Trick or Treat from other players’ candy bowls

Weeklies

  • Kill 50 Spooky Scorched
  • Complete 6 Give out Candy Daily Challenges
  • Complete 2 Give out Candy Weekly Challenges

That’s all there is to know about Fallout 76’s Halloween 2023 events. If you’re looking for the best places to find Halloween costumes, where to find Scorched, or other item locations, check out our guides vault. All treats, no tricks.
