Gotham Knights Collectibles Guide

Here's where to find all locations for the batarangs, landmarks, street art, and Historia Strigidae pages hidden across Gotham City in Gotham Knights.

There are 160 total collectibles to be found in Gotham Knights if you don’t count Batman’s Secret Stashes, which aren’t so secret because they show up on your map as you play through the campaign. We won’t be covering those locations here. Instead, we’ll focus on the truly hidden collectibles, including Batarang locations, Landmarks, Street Art Murals, and Strigidae Pages, which are all much harder to find.

Recommended Videos

You can access the entire Gotham City map and all 11 of its boroughs very close to the start of the game and for the remainder of your time with Gotham Knights. Except for the Strigidae Pages (which are available after Mission 2), none of the collectibles are locked behind missions or level caps, though you may want to unlock fast travel before heading up to the northern districts.

Here’s a quick primer on what to look out for:

Batarang Locations:

Batman’s left 60 Batarangs all over the city, many in quite hard-to-find locations, and you just have to walk over them to collect them. They give off a blue column of light that shoots into the sky, but you have to be relatively close to them to see it; it doesn’t help there are millions of similar blue lights across Gotham.

Batarang collectibles will glow orange when scanned by the AR device, but you must be incredibly close to them to see the outline (essentially on top of them), and even then, it may be hard to detect the outline. You’ll get the Batarang Collector trophy and achievement for finding them all, while also completing a handful of collectibles challenges for some extra XP.

Landmark Locations:

There are 40 Landmark locations to find in Gotham. However, they aren’t exactly what you might think: GCPD isn’t a Landmark, for example. Neither is Arkham Asylum. Your Database collects all of the points of interest you come across; some fall into the Landmark category, and others don’t.

To collect Landmarks, you must interact with their Historical Marker placards (little square signs) often found on walls or columns near them. You must interact with these placards to mark that you’ve visited the locations. Placards glow two different colors when scanned with the AR device: orange before they’ve been collected and white after they’ve been collected.

These locations are some of the hardest collectibles to find in the game because seeing the glow of a placard can be incredibly difficult. You’ll get the History Major trophy and achievement for visiting them all, as well as some XP for their associated collectibles challenges.

Street Art Locations:

Street Art murals are, conversely, some of the easiest collectibles to find in Gotham Knights. Most boroughs only have one mural to find (though some have multiple), and you must scan them with the AR device to collect them.

There are 12 to find, and they have a bright orange border around them when using your AR pulse. This border can be easily seen through other buildings and stands in stark contrast to the city around them. You’ll get the Claiming the Mural High Ground trophy and achievement for scanning them all. As with the other collectibles here, there are also XP rewards for completing challenges.

Historia Strigidae Page Locations:

Historia Strigidae Pages become available after completing Mission 2 and are part of the game’s Court of Owls storyline. The first Page appears automatically on your map in northwest Bristol; look for the white coat of arms icon. There are 48 to collect for the Read Owl About It trophy and achievement.

These Strigidae Pages are some of the hardest collectibles to finding Gotham Knights; they are marked with a white runic X that does not appear on your AR scan. There are always two other runes somewhere near the X; these upside-down-As mark the general location of the X. They do not need to be scanned to find and interact with the X.
