Hitman 3 Helicopter Key Guide: How to Complete the Rotor Ready Challenge

If you want to escape Dubai in high-flying style, you'll need the Hitman 3 helicopter key. Here's where to find it.

Hitman 3‘s Dubai mission, On Top of the World, includes several escape routes for Agent 47, one of which is tied in with the Rotor Ready challenge and helicopter key. For this challenge, Agent 47 needs to escape via helicopter, but the question is: where is the Hitman 3 helicopter key?

It’s easy to miss unless you know just where to look. Our short walkthrough guide below leads you right to it.

How to Get the Helicopter Key in Hitman 3

The fastest ways to grab Hitman 3‘s helicopter key are either dressing as an event guard or starting On Top of the World as a technician. If you’re an event guard, you can begin the (In)Security Mission Story faster, kick Stuyvesant off the ledge, then grab the key all in one go.

Starting as a technician means you begin right by the balcony area where the key is, so it depends on what you want to accomplish first.

Helicopter Key Location

However you start the level, head onto the balcony on Level 2. To the left of Stuyvesant’s knife table is a small walkway ending with a ladder. Head down the walkway, and you’ll see a prompt appear to pick up the key. Grab it and clear the Rotor Ready challenge.

Now take the ladder up to the helipad. While you’re there, you may as well deal with the pilot just to make earning Silent Assassin easier. If you disguise yourself as the pilot, you’ll clear the Rotor Man challenge too.

Finally, if you want to force Stuyvesant and Ingram to evacuate the building via parachute, you’ll need to get the pilot out of the way anyway.

Note the helicopter is only used for 47’s escape. You can’t pilot it with Ingram and Stuyvesant on board, and you can’t do anything with the helicopter key other than escape on the chopper.
