Hogwarts Legacy: Harry Potter Character Creator Guide

If you are playing Hogwarts Legacy and want to know how to create a character like Harry Potter, find your answers here.

As you load into Hogwarts Legacy, you may be wondering whether or not you will see an appearance from the one and only Harry Potter. You will quickly learn that he is not a part of this game, and the Legacy story takes place around 100 years before he is born, destined to become the boy who lived. Thanks to the Hogwarts Legacy character customization tool, you can play as — a likeness — of Harry Potter.

For Harry’s hairstyle, we found that the best option was similar to his hair from the fifth installment, Order of the Phoenix. The Hogwarts Legacy plot takes place in your fifth year, making it the perfect choice for your Harry Potter roleplay.

Hairstyles page

  • Hair colour: 10th option
  • Hairstyle: 8th from the bottom

Harry Potter is known for his iconic forehead scar, and unfortunately, there is no scar available that matches it. Thankfully, the fifth-year hairstyle we previously selected covers up where the scar would be, so it doesn’t really feel like it is missing.

Complexion page

  • Complexion: 8th option
  • Freckles and moles: 1st option
  • Scars and markings: None

Harry Potter has full eyebrows to match his dark hair, and we found the ideal choice to be the 7th option.

Eyebrows page

  • Eye colour: 19th option
  • Eyebrow color: 5th option
  • Eyebrow shape: 7th option

Daniel Radcliffe did not do any voice-acting roles for Hogwarts Legacy, so his voice is missing from the game. However, we have found the best possible matches below.

Finalise Your Character page

  • Tone: Voice One
  • Pitch: 3rd option

Once you get started playing, don’t forget to sort yourself into Gryffindor, because while Harry Potter can seem reckless at times, he is truly the embodiment of Gryffindor’s bravery, loyalty, and selflessness.
