Honkai Star Rail: How to Add Friends

While Honkai: Star Rail focuses on single player gameplay, you can add friends early on in the game. Co-op or multiplayer doesn’t exist yet in Honkai: Star Rail, but you can still access your friends’ Support Characters for help in combat. Here are the different ways to add friends in Honkai: Star Rail.

How to Add Friends in Honkai: Stair Rail

There are a couple different methods you can use to add friends in game. You can add strangers from the list presented to you in the Friends menu, you can add someone using their User ID (UID) or you can just accept incoming Friend Requests.

To add someone using the UID, you’ll want to obtain your friends UID from them. Once you have your friend’s UID, you’ll want to go to the cellphone and select the Friends menu. From there, select the right tab to add a friend. The top search bar is where you’ll put the UID of the person you want to add. Simply search it then send a Friend Request.

Adding a friend is as simple as that. Once friends, you can use their designated Support Character on your team for combat in Calyx or the Cavern of Corrosion. Using a Support Character is great if you need a specific damage type and don’t have access to a character yourself, or they’re not leveled enough. Having more Friends means having a wider variety of Support Characters to chose from when getting ready to duke it out.
