Honkai Star Rail: How to Complete Signs of Fragmentum

The Signs of Fragmentum mission in Honkai: Star Rail is part combat trial part hide-and-seek. See how to complete it here.

Signs of Fragmentum is an Adventure Mission in Honkai: Star Rail unlocked when you reach Trailblaze Level 22, and once you’ve completed Asta’s Companion Mission, You Already Know Me. Once unlocked, you can complete up to three progressively harder difficulties, each offering its own suite of rewards. At the core of every instance of Signs of Fragmentum is the hunt for four or five Wubaboos scattered about the area. This guide will cover where to find those and how to complete the Mission.

How to Complete Signs of Fragmentum in Honkai: Star Rail

To start Signs of Fragmentum, head to the Storage Zone. The closest Space Anchor is Outside the Control Center (First Floor). Speak to the security officer, and he’ll send you to the instance. You’ll have a set of three objectives for each difficulty, and completing each of them nets you additional rewards.

  • Difficulty 1: Finish all battles within five turns, no more than two knockdowns, and find all four Wubbaboos.
  • Difficulty 2: Finish all battles within five turns, no more than two knockdowns, and find all five Wubbaboos.
  • Difficulty 3: Finish all battles within ten turns, no more than two knockdowns, and find all four Wubbaboos.

The problem is that, unless your team is filled with absolute DPS machines, fighting everything will take up more than your allotment of turns. Stealth is the answer, then. Once you’re in the instance, you’ll need to take a picture of each Wubbaboo, and when you capture an image of all of them, you are free to leave. Here’s where to find all the Wubbaboos in Signs of Fragmentum.

All Difficulty 1 Wubbaboos in Signs of Fragmentum

The Wubbaboos scattered about Difficulty I Signs of Fragmentum are pretty easy to find, with only one tricky one. At Equilibrium 1, all enemies in the instance are level 34, so be prepared for that.

Find the first Wubbaboo right next to the starting point, near the maintenance worker.

Second Wubbaboo Location

The second Wubbaboo hides above the doorway where the enemy patrols. Unless you have Seele, you’ll probably need to defeat the enemy to safely take a picture.

Third Wubbaboo Location

The third Wubbaboo is floating near the plants at the corner of the right-hand hallway. There’s an enemy there staring at the wall, so take the picture of the little ghost guy and move on.

Fourth Wubbaboo Location

The fourth and final Wubbaboo in Difficulty 1 Signs of Fragmentum is on the left side of the forked hallway. It hides between the glowing blue terminals near the back of the room. The enemy there won’t attack unless attacked, so snap the pic and head out.

All Difficulty 2 Wubbaboos in Signs of Fragmentum

Things get a bit thicker in Signs of Fragmentum Difficulty II, as the enemies are at a more difficult level 36 and there are now five Wubbaboos to find. You still only have five turns of combat, and while there aren’t any boss-level enemies, there are enough mobs to make life difficult.

To get to the third Wubbaboo, turn right at the fork, then left into the room with the platform puzzle. To solve the puzzle, go all the way to the left, then all the way to the right, then take the teleport and finish. The Wubbaboo is on the left side of the far platform, behind one of the large servers.

Stay in the same basic spot for the fourth Wubbaboo, and head into the room where the black-clad enemies patrols. The little guy is above the doorway.

Fifth Wubbaboo Location

The fifth and final Wubbaboo of the Difficulty II Signs of Fragmentum is on the other side of the area, so head across the fork in the road. Pass directly across the room to the stairwell until you reach the orange-lit machinery. The Wubbabbo is nestled in the bottom-left there.

All Difficulty 3 Wubbaboos in Signs of Fragmentum

Oddly, Difficulty III of Signs of Fragmentum is easier than II for finding Wubbaboos. The first three are in the starting zone, though one is guarded by a level 38 boss. Seele’s Stealth ability is once again a great option if you have access to it.

Continue around the ring to the bridge, and on the Wubbaboo is underneath it on the left side as you face the boss enemy.

Third Wubbabboo Location

You can see the third Wubbabbo from the bridge, but you’ll need to solve the floating platform puzzle to actually take a picture of it. The solution is up-left-up, teleport, then up-left-up again.

To find the fourth Wubbabboo, head back to the maintenance and security workers. Solve the floating platform puzzle (left-up-right, teleport, down-right-up) and head into the room. Turn immediately to the right to see th eWubbabbo floating near some boxes.

Fifth Wubbabboo Location

The fifth and final Wubbaboo is on the other side of the area. Head into the room with the patroling enemy, and make an immediate right. If you have Seele, enter stealth and go to the bottom of the stairwell. The Wubbaboo floats near the ceiling there. If you don’t have Seele, you’ll likely have to defeat the enemy to take the picture.

You’ll be rewarded for each first completion of Signs of Fragmentum, and if you get all three stars, there are no additional rewards for subsequent completions. Completing all three difficulty levels does reward up to 180 Stellar Jade plus some experience items and two Relics.
