Honkai: Star Rail — How to Complete the No One is Answering Mission

No One is Answering is a special mission in Honkai Star Rail. Here's how to complete it.

Choices might not always seem like they matter in Honkai Star Rail, but sometimes the result is more than just a dialogue change.  One moment that particularly stands out is during Clara’s Companionship storyline, which will split off into one of two different missions. Our guide will cover how to complete the follow-up No One is Answering mission in HSR.

The final part in the Rarely Affectionate (Part 2) companion mission will put Pascal’s fate in the Trailblazer’s hands. Svarog believes that reformatting Pascal into the base network is the safest choice. However, Clara wants to preserve Pascal’s unique intelligence by not reformatting them and then resetting them if things go awry.

Going with Svarog’s plan will result in a separate adventure mission called Wish You Were Here. Choosing to side with Clara will lead to the No One is Answering mission popping up after the next server reset.

You’ll receive a new message from Clara at the start of a new day. She’ll ask you to come over to Rivet Town to check up on Pascal with her. Use the conveniently close Abandoned Market Space Anchor and then turn around to find both of them.

A short dialogue with Clara will reveal that the robot is doing great and the locks Svarog installed are effective. Unfortunately, there’s still no telling how long they’ll be or how often Clara would need to keep resetting him. Poor Pascal.

It’s worth mentioning that chatting with Svarog at the Robot Settlement will reveal that he’s looking into a way to break the eventual cycle of resetting Pascal, so there’s hope for the special robot.

You’ll talk to Pascal next, who’s elated to see you and is thankful for all that you’ve done. They’ll then present you with a hand-made Flower Made From Scrap Iron mission item. This item doesn’t have a function, but it certainly is cute.

The end of the conversation also marks the end of the story. Accompanying this ending of this unique mission is the unique achievement The Lifecycle of Software Objects.
