How to Get Homeward Thundercloud in Palworld

Go home whenever you want.

In Palworld, you’ll probably spend most of your time building up your base. However, the more you upgrade it, the further out you’ll have to explore. This makes it a pain to bring all your resources back to base. In this guide, I’ll show you how to get the Homeward Thundercloud in Palworld.

How to Unlock Homeward Thundercloud in Palworld

You’ll need to be level 30 to unlock the Homeward Thundercloud, so you’ll have to grind a bit. You’ll also need 2 Ancient Technology Points in order to obtain its recipe. You should have plenty of Ancient Technology Points by this point; if not, you can always fight some bosses to claim more.

Make sure that you have a High Quality Workbench to craft it. Once you have the Homeward Thundercloud recipe unlocked, you’ll need the following items:

  • Electric Organs x5
  • Ancient Civilization Parts x2
  • Dazzi Cloud x1

Once you’ve crafted it, you can use it no matter where you are on the map. All you have to do is go into your items menu and select the Homeward Thundercloud. You’ll hop on the cloud and instantly be teleported back to your base.

Palworld: What does the Homeward Thundercloud Do?

The further you explore the map in Palworld, the more distance you’ll have between you and your base. I’ve died a few times far away from my base and lost all of my items.

Luckily, the Homeward Thundercloud allows you to teleport back to your closest base no matter where you are. Usually, you can only teleport back to your base when you interact with a statue. However, the Homeward Thundercloud is a consumable item and can only be used once. So use it sparingly, or craft a lot of them.

That’s how to get the Homeward Thundercloud in Palworld. If you’re looking for more tips and tricks, check out our articles about the 10 worst Pals and 10 prettiest base locations. For all Palword coverage, see our guides hub.
