Much like the name implies, Monstrous Tooth is acquired from a monstrous creature. While I thought I could get one from a Prime Crocodile or Hippo, I was mistaken. The animals you’ll need to hunt are much larger than a Prime Hippo. Unfortunately, that means you must track down sea monsters to get a stockpile of Monstrous Teeth.

Where to Find Sea Monsters in Skull and Bones

The first sea monster you encounter is part of the quest From the Deep. You start this quest by speaking with the Sea People Huntmaster in Lanitra and accepting the daily hunting quests.

During the daily quest, there’s a chance of a sea monster spawning. When it spawns, you hear rumors when on land or your crew says they’ve heard of a giant sea beast. From the Deep appears in your Journal, and a blue marker will show on the map.

How to Defeat Sea Monsters

Taking on monstrous creatures, like the Kuharibu, are designed to be a team effort. Utilizing multiple ships, you can avoid the charge attacks and hit weak points, such as the eyes, easier. You need to have the best armor possible and Brace when it will hit you, to ensure your ship survives.
