Sand Land: How to Get Raptor Steel

If you’re trying to upgrade or build new vehicles, you may realize you’ll need the elusive Raptor Steel. Before you obtain the Jump Bot, the only way to obtain it is through random chests scattered around the map. However, after you complete the A Jump-Bot?! Gimmie! main quest, you can make it easily available.

Once you have a Jump Bot, you can talk to the mayor of Spino, where you can accept the Tinkerer Siblings side quest. You’ll be tasked to find his friend Nors, a craftsman in Talbo, and recruit him to move to Spino.

You’ll run into the mayor’s children during the quest, who will join you in Spino after collecting Puraptor Scales. Once you complete the side quest, the Workshop will open in Spino. You can talk to the sibling that moved to Spino and craft Raptor Steel. There are three different recipes to craft it:

  • 1 Raptor Steel: 2x Raptor Scale + 1x B-Grade Steel
  • 1 Raptor Steel: 1x Puraptor Scale + 1x B-Grade Steel
  • 2 Raptor Steel: 1x Alpha Raptor Scale + 1x B-Grade Steel

After you have access to the Workshop in Spino, you can also obtain Raptor Steel from the Craftsman in Junk Market. He’ll have the same recipes available. Now, this once elusive material can be made at any time using common materials.

That’s how to get Raptor Steel in Sand Land. If you’re looking for more tips and tricks, check out our dedicated  Sand Land guides hub for topics such as how to build the jump bot and the best early game Tank build.
