Noita can be a difficult game, and keeping your health up is the crucial aspect of its hardcore permadeath gameplay loop. Luckily, there are various ways to heal, both through pickups and spells, so let’s discuss different methods. Here’s how to heal in Noita.
All Ways to Heal in Noita
Here are various ways to heal in Noita, starting from the easiest and simplest methods and moving on to more secret ones:
- Health Pickups: You’ll find these heart-shaped pickups scattered throughout Noita’s biomes. While Max Health increase pickups won’t heal you, Full Health Regeneration ones will, which are found in Holy Mountains, treasure chests, and the Dark Cave. Note that you can get a lot of Max Health pickups by getting the Worm Crystal to the Mountain Altar and then killing big worms that spawn.
- Holy Mountain: These are special checkpoint biomes between the main areas of the game where you can purchase items and, most of all, heal. To the left of the area, you’ll find a Full Health Regeneration pickup along with Spell Refreshes on elevated podiums.
- Healing Bolt: This is a 20-charge healing spell that fires healing projectiles. I like using upwards in water so that the projectile falls on me to heal me or using the Boomerang synergy so that it comes back to heal you.
- Circle of Vigour: Another more powerful healing spell that has 2 charges and can heal you around 30% to 50% with a single charge.
- Kammi: This is a healing item you can find in the chests of all biomes. Throw it on the ground, and it’ll summon Healing Bolts.
- Healing Enemies: Certain enemies like Hiisi Healers in the Hiisi Base or Repair Drones in The Vault can cast Healing Bolts on their allies. The trick is that you can intercept their Healing Bolt projectiles by getting in the way, thus healing yourself.
- Liquids: You can find special magical liquids like Healthium, Lively Concoction, and Hearty Porridge throughout the biomes of Noita. All of these heal you on contact.

What are Healing Perks in Noita
There are also two Perks that can heal you in Noita. These are Vampirism and Trick Blood Money. Vampirism allows you to drink blood which you get by hurting organic enemies. Furthermore, combine this with the More Blood perk which makes enemies bleed a lot more for a steadier supply of blood. That said, I highly recommending filling a flask with blood rather than drinking it from the ground. This is because you can accidentally get sick by drinking it from the ground.
As for Trick Blood Money, this is a passive Perk that makes enemies drop Bloody Gold Nuggets, which heal you. Nuggets range in value from 10 to 10k and heal a higher amount based on the value. A 10-gold nugget heals 2 HP, a 50-gold nugget 5 HP, and then any higher value caps out at 7.5 HP.
