How to Recruit Jawa in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor

Here's how to get a Jawa to join up at the Cantina in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor.

The Star Wars Jedi: Survivor Jawa is one of many Outpost NPCs that can join the Pyloon’s Saloon cantina. However, getting to its location might be tricky, as you need to progress further in the campaign. Here’s our guide to help you recruit the Jawa in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor.

The Jawas are found in Koboh – Bygone Settlement. After clearing the Forest Array mission and getting your Nekko mount, you’ll end up in this zone as you’re making your way back to the cantina. In the distance, you should see a Sandcrawler, but there’s no way to reach it yet.

If you follow the ravine, you’ll notice the zone’s fast travel point. You can tag it by double-jumping while mounted on your Nekko.

In any case, the idea is to return to this area much later in the game. By then, you should have additional traversal abilities like the Air Dash and Merrin’s Charm. Once you’ve obtained these, use the metal grates and ziplines at the fast travel point. You should then reach a walkway that has a cosmetic chest. Next, use Air Dash so the fan doesn’t blow you off the edge.

From this point, you’ll be able to cross the upper walkways, opening chests and taking out enemies as you go along. One of the Jawas will help you by lowering a container. This will let you cross to the opposite side, which happens to have two more containers.

The idea is to use Force Pull by alternating between the two containers as you’re hopping across. Upon reaching the next ridge, you’ll spot several Bedlam Raiders and Droids. Take them out, and the door to the Sandcrawler will open.

Talk to the Jawas inside the Sandcrawler, and one of them will happily join the merry band at the cantina. This is how you recruit the Jawa in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. Don’t forget to check the Sandcrawler and nearby areas for goodies, including an Essence Crystal and cosmetic chests.

The Jawa is just one minor character that will head to Pyloon’s Saloon. For the others, you can refer to our Cantina Recruits guide. Likewise, you can visit our Star Wars Jedi: Survivor guides hub.
