How to Get Probotector in Vampire Survivors Operation Guns DLC

In order to unlock Probotector, the red robot from Contra in Operation Guns DLC, you’ll have to collect exactly 14 Barriers which is a new collection item. This number is saved across all your runs. They’re usually scattered in the New Galuga level. Furthermore, each time you pick one up you’ll get a shield that blocks 10 instances of damage that would otherwise hit and hurt you.

Where to Find 14 Barriers in Vampire Survivors Operation Guns DLC

The easiest way to find Barriers is in Neo Galuga by being on the lookout for silver flying pods that sometimes appear. You’ll recognize them by their red cross and you have to shoot them with a directional weapon to open the canister. Inside, you can get various upgrades, and the Barrier pick-ups will have a signature glowing “B”.

I highly recommend using the Arcana card number VIII, called the Mad Groove, to collect Barriers more easily. After picking up this Arcana and every 2 minutes after, it will pull in all pick-ups on the level toward you passively. You can unlock Mad Groove by reaching minute 31 in the Mad Forest level.

All in all, once you pick up 14 Barriers you’ll get the achievement pop-up for unlocking Probotector. All you need to do now is purchase him after your current run and he’ll be available for use. His starting weapon is the new Prism Lass which you can unlock with all characters by surviving with Probotector for 15 minutes.

That’s it for my guide on how to unlock Probotector in Vampire Survivors Operation Guns DLC. For more Vampire Survivors guides, check out how to unlock all achievements from Operation Guns.
