How to Unlock Santa Ladonna in Vampire Survivors

With poncle, Christmas arrives in the most inaccurate period, no matter if you’re in the USA or Australia. Santa Ladonna is a brand new character in Vampire Survivors. Here’s a guide on how to unlock this mysterious, fun-to-play character and their characteristics.

How to Get Santa Ladonna, New Character in Vampire Survivors

This content is from the v1.10.102 patch, which is currently in public beta on Steam. You can freely access it by right-clicking Vampire Survivors in the Steam Library, going to Properties, Betas, and then opting in the “public-beta” branch, closing the dialogue and letting Steam update your game.

Santa Ladonna is unlocked by surviving for 20 minutes at the Laborratory stage. If you have not unlocked this stage, I wrote a guide for unlocking the Laborratory stage that will certainly be helpful to you. Surviving until 20:00 on the Laborratory stage can be difficult if you are new to Vampire Survivors and don’t have all the Power Ups, characters, and unlocks. However, not all is gloom and doom. You can still make it.

How to Survive 20 Minutes in the Laborratory Stage in Vampire Survivors

Power Up priority list should generally be:

• Revival – gives you a “pink slip” when things go really bad.
• Regeneration – regenerates your HP.
• Max Health – gives you more room for errors.
• Damage – the offense is the best defense.
• Cooldown – same as above.
• Experience – getting a chance to level up your stuff faster will increase your chance of survival.
• Armor – damage reduction is fine.

As far as character selection is concerned, you could try:

• Krochi
• Pugnala Provola
• Leda
• Red Death
• Queen Sigma

What Are Santa Ladonna’s Abilities in Vampire Survivors?

Santa Ladonna starts with a temporary CDR bonus that progressively fades away as you level. When your health drops really low, a Pentagram-like effect (Rosary) will trigger. Santa also has something to hide; their starting weapon is the Santa Spear.

Santa Ladonna cost me 5269 Gold to unlock. It’s worth noting that I’ve unlocked each and every Vampire Survivors character that came out before Santa Ladonna, so this means that this is probably the max price for the unlock. Yours will either be the same or lower. It’s also worth noting that these events will happen as you play:

• At level 40, a new item will spawn in front of you.
• At level 80, a candy box will spawn in front of you.

When you get the following three weapons to Level 8, more magic will happen:

• Santa Water
• King Bible
• Cross

The “magic” happens after you pick up a chest after having all three weapons at Level 8. The said weapons will disappear from your inventory, but they will actually remain fully functional as “hidden” weapons. And yeah, all three of them get upgraded for free. The three weapon slots they occupied are freed, so you can pick up more weapons. This combo “breaks” if you evolve any of these three weapons on your own, so be careful what you’re doing.
