How to Get the Laser Pointer in Lethal Company

The Laser Pointer isn’t a traditional piece of gear you can just buy like the Ladder. Instead, it’s found among scrap while scavenging within facilities. It doesn’t actually do anything other than point at stuff, which the person watching the monitor can actually see. That said, it’s not quite worth keeping unless you’re deep into a run. A Laser Pointer is worth anywhere from about 30 to 100 credits, that’s not bad at all.

I found that It appears on other moons as well, but it seems it’s more common on the aforementioned three. Once you pick it up you can use it similarly to the Flashlight. Here’s how.

 How to Use the Laser Pointer in Lethal Company

All you need to do to use the Laser Pointer is press left mouse button while holding it. It’ll emit a thin orange laser beam with a battery life of around two minutes and some change. While a Flashlight is always more useful, the Laser Pointer has some interesting application as a pseudo-Point emote.

It’s especially neat to use outside of voice chat range. That said, it’s almost useless in foggy areas or ones with steam or under blizzard conditions. At the end of the day, who doesn’t like pointing a laser at something, especially monsters. There’s nothing funnier than pointing one at an Eyeless Dog, even if it means death. Why yes, I do like to live dangerously.
