This powerful melee class, which is equipped by default with the Paladin’s sword and armor set, can be unlocked in one of two different ways:

  • Purchase the Deluxe Edition of Lords of the Fallen.
  • Complete the Paladin Isaac’s questline.

If you don’t want to buy the Deluxe Edition of the game just to obtain one extra starting class, then you need to follow these steps to unlock it in the game:

  1. Obtain the Flayed Skin at the Abandoned Redscope.
  2. Examine four of Isaac’s Stigmas:
    • At the beginning of the Lower Calrath.
    • At the beginning of the Fief of the Chill Curse.
    • Past the Lightreaper’s arena in the Fief of the Chill Curse.
    • At the Path of Devotion.
  3. Fight the Umbral Isaac as soon as he spawns.
  4. Once defeated, he will drop the Umbral-Tinged Flayed Skin.
  5. Return to the Abandoned Redscope and unlock the blocked path using the Umbral-Tinged Flayed Skin.
  6. Pick up the Paladin’s armor set to complete the questline.

Lord is a powerful Inferno class that starts at level 23 and is the only class that has two rings by default at the beginning of New Game Plus. There’s only one condition to unlock it:

  • You must complete the game with the Inferno Ending.

As soon as you start the New Game Plus after achieving the Inferno Ending, this class will become available. Here’s what you need to do to be able to achieve this ending:

  1. Defeat Colossal Sentinels that protect the beacons (Do not cleanse them!).
  2. Pick up the Rune of Adyr at the Abbey of the Hallowed Sisters.
  3. Unlock Bramis Castle and defeat The Sundered Monarch.
  4. Find and talk to the Effigy of Adyr.
  5. Use the Empowered Rune of Adyr on all five beacons:
    • At the Forsaken Fen.
    • At the Upper Calrath.
    • At the Fief of the Chill Curse.
    • At the Tower of Penance.
    • At the The Empyrean.
  6. Defeat Judge Cleric. the Radiant Sentinel.
  7. Use the Empowered Rune of Adyr on Iselle.

Putrid Child is another endgame class that has a solid balance of Radiance and Inferno stats. Similarly to the Lord class, you’d have to complete the game first before you could play as a Putrid Child. The main condition is:

  • You must complete the game with the Umbral Ending.

I must warn you that this ending requires you to kill certain vendors, so be prepared to lose those items once you decide to take this path. This entire walkthrough consists of three stages. Here’s what you need to do:

  1. Defeat Harrower Dervla, the Pledged Knight and The Unbroken Promise at the Revelation Depths.
  2. Buy the Scouring Clump from Molhu at Skyrest Bridge for 1,000 Vigor.
  3. Take the Damarose’s Seedpod from one of the Remnants at the Mother’s Lull.
  4. Kill Damarose at Pilgrim’s Perch using her Seedpod.
  5. Take the Gerlinde’s Seedpod from one of the Remnants at the Mother’s Lull.
  6. Kill Gerlinde at Pilgrim’s Perch using her Seedpod.
  7. Defeat the Colossal Sentinel at the Bramis Castle and take the Lightreaper’s Umbral Parasite.
  8. Put the Lightreaper’s Umbral Parasite inside a pillar in the Molhu’s room at Skyrest Bridge.

At this point, you’ve been able to complete the first half, after this stage do the following:

  1. Take the Mekchior’s Seedpod from one of the Remnants at the Mother’s Lull.
  2. Pick up the Rune of Adyr from the Abbey of the Hallowed Sisters.
  3. Give the Rune of Adyr to a Remnant at the Mother’s Lull in exchange for the Withered Rune of Adyr.
  4. Locate the Melchior’s body at the Bramis Castle using the Effigy of Adyr.
  5. Kill The Iron Wayfarer at the Fief of the Chill Curse using the Withered Rune of Adyr.
  6. Pick up the Harkyn’s Umbral Parasite and put it inside the pillar in the Molhu’s room.

Now you need to speak with Molhu, which initiates the final stage of the Umbral Ending:

  1. Soulflay Pieta at Skyrest Bridge to start the fight with Elianne, the Starved.
  2. Once defeated, she will drop Elianne’s Umbral Parasite.
  3. Put the Elianne’s Umbral Parasite inside the pillar in the Molhu’s room.
  4. Select “Enter Mother’s Lull” option when speaking to Molhu.
  5. Use the platforms at Mother’s Lull to cross the final gap and finish the game.

The final endgame class in Lords of the Fallen is Radiant Purifier, which is focused entirely on Radiance magic. The unlock condition is the following:

  • You must complete the game with the Radiant Ending.

The main goal of the Radiant Ending is to cleanse all five beacons. Follow these steps to complete the game and unlock the Radiant Purifier class:

  1. Defeat Colossal Sentinels that protect the beacons.
  2. Cleanse all five beacons at the following locations:
    • Forsaken Fen.
    • Upper Calrath.
    • Fief of the Chill Curse.
    • Tower of Penance.
    • The Empyrean.

  4. Defeat The Sundered Monarch boss at the Bramis Castle.

  6. Defeat Adyr, the Bereft Exile final boss to complete the game.
