How to Unlock the Dark Crusader Class in Lords of the Fallen

There are two ways to get the Dark Crusader class, one of which being an outright real money purchase, and the other being a gameplay reward.

Purchase the Deluxe Edition of the Game

If you want to get the Dark Crusader as one of the available classes when you first start in Lords of the Fallen, then all you need to do is purchase the Deluxe Edition of the game. Here are the places online where you can purchase the Deluxe Edition:

If you already own the base game on Steam, then you can also simply purchase this class separately on the Starting Class Steam page.

Complete Paladin Isaac’s Questline

If you don’t want to purchase the Deluxe Edition of the game, then you can unlock the Dark Crusader class by completing Paladin Isaac’s questline. Follow all the steps I listed below, and soon you’ll unlock this cool melee class:

  1. Obtain the Flayed Skin at the Abandoned Redscope.
  2. Examine four of Isaac’s Stigmas:
    • At the beginning of the Lower Calrath.
    • At the beginning of the Fief of the Chill Curse.
    • Past the Lightreaper’s arena in the Fief of the Chill Curse.
    • At the Path of Devotion.
  3. Fight the Umbral Isaac as soon as he spawns.
  4. Once defeated, he will drop the Umbral-Tinged Flayed Skin.
  5. Return to the Abandoned Redscope and unlock the blocked path using the Umbral-Tinged Flayed Skin.
  6. Pick up the Paladin’s armor set to complete the questline.

If you did everything right, this will not only unlock the Dark Crusader class but also allow you to summon Paladin Isaac during the Lightreaper fight at the Upper Calrath.
