Pokemon Legends Arceus: How to Complete An Elegant Tail

Solve Asabei's riddle in Pokemon Legends' Elegant Tail quest.

An Elegant Tail in Pokemon Legends Arceus initially seems as much of a riddle to you as it does to Asabei, the villager enraptured by the glamorous tail he saw.

While Asabei’s description is hardly overflowing with detail, there’s only one Sinnoh Pokemon that can possibly fit the bill. The rewards for hunting it down are small, but handy, so it’s worth taking the Coastlands detour to get Asabei what he’s after.

How to Complete An Elegant Tail in Pokemon Legends

The Pokemon Asabei saw is Glameow, and it only lives in the Cobalt Coastlands. Specifically, you’ll find them west of Gingko Landing, right outside the beach camp. Completing the quest requires you to capture the Glameow, so battling one will get you nowhere.

It’s one of the more skittish Pokemon in the region, so make sure to stay well hidden for a better chance of catching it. Startling a Glameow will probably bring the wrath of Purugly on you and make the process take much longer, so tread with care.

Once you’ve caught Glameow, head back to Jubilife Village, and show it to Asabei. He’s overjoyed with your finding and gives you two Aux Evasion and two Grit Gravel. You also get to keep the Glameow, similar to the mission that led you to Chimchar. Or you can set it loose from the pastures for a chance at more Grit items.

Those are handy for raising your Pokemon’s stats, but Aux Evasion has its uses as well. You might not be able to stop an enemy Pokemon from acting twice, but you can at least raise your chances of avoiding the attacks.
