Roblox Anime Defenders: Best Units Tier List

There are over 40 units in Roblox Anime Defenders. The most powerful units are of secret and mythical rarities, but there are also a few legendaries that are worth looking at. Here, I’ll provide you with a tier list of the best units in Anime Defenders, including their strongest skills and attacks.

Best Units Tier List in Anime Defenders

S-Tier Units

Chance Taker

• Type: Ground
• Cost: 2,500

Currently, there’s great speculation amongst the Anime Defenders players about which unit is the best: The Gamer or the Chance Taker. I’ll take my chances with the Chance Taker (no pun intended). This unit has a crushing AoE attack, and he evolves into the Chance King, one of the most brutal evolutions in the game. Note that you’ll need the Roulette Machine and 35,000 gold to evolve the Chance Taker.

Elf Wizardess

• Type: Ground
• Cost: 1,350

This unit is one of the most effective units in the game due to her high damage and ability to evolve into the Elf Hero. At Upgrade 6, I can start summoning Destructive Lightning attacks, and at Upgrade 8, I can gain access to Hellfire Summoning Becomes Circle AoE attack. Both are extremely effective, and I urge you to unlock these upgrades as soon as you can. For evolving the Elf Wizardess, you’ll need at least 3 Flame Grimoires, where each one costs 8,500 gold.

Ant King

• Type: Ground
• Cost: 1,000

I think the Ant King is often overlooked, but this is definitely one of the most powerful mythic units in Anime Defenders. At max level, he can deal as much as 14,200 points of damage using his Circle+Circle+AoE combo. Some of his most powerful attacks are Acid Rain and Tempest Thrash. But his ultimate skill is Immense Speed Slam, which alone can deal up to 11,000 points of damage.

A-Tier Units

Carp

• Type: Ground
• Cost: 1,500

If you’re looking for a unit with nothing but highly destructive AoE attacks, then Carp will fit the bill perfectly. All of his attacks, in one way or another, detonate and create massive explosions. His two most powerful skills are Colossal Detonation and Monumental Destruction. But since they both deal around 3,000 points of damage, I can’t place him any higher than A-tier.

Skull Warrior

• Type: Ground
• Cost: 1,500

By default, Skull Warrior doesn’t impress me that much. But if you evolve him into the Skull Paladin, using the Skull Mask, then he becomes a truly splendid unit. Once evolved, he can deal as much as 10,000 points of damage with either his Void Convergence AoE attack or his Twilight Termination line attack. I’d definitely put him in the S-tier only if he didn’t require evolving first.

Sharpshooter

• Type: Hill
• Cost: 1,250

Sharpshooter is another underestimated unit that deserves a highlight. On her own, Sharpshooter is a decent mid-tier unit with great range. However, if you build her with the Critical and Precision traits unlocked, then she’ll quickly become one of your most effective ranged damage dealers in the game.

Thunder Shinobi

• Type: Ground
• Cost: 1,200

This unit has been significantly improved lately with the addition of two new multihit combos, such as Grasp of the Abyss and Stormforge Havoc. Both are powerful AoE attacks that deal between 6,000 and 11,000 points of damage each. All of his attacks are lightning-based, which means that he can practically destroy any other unit in the game.

B-Tier Units

Prince of Curses

• Type: Ground
• Cost: 1,000

Prince of Curses is currently considered the best Bleed and Crit-based unit in the game. But since the meta doesn’t always revolve around these types of builds, I’ve put it in the B-tier. His evolved version, the Cursed King, also deals flame damage in addition to bleed damage, which makes it the only unit in the game that applies both bleed and burn status effects.

Flame Dragon King

• Type: Ground
• Cost: 950

If you’re specifically interested in the burn damage, then Flame Dragon King is by far the best unit for that purpose. But again, the meta doesn’t always appreciate these types of builds, so be aware of that. He can deal a lot of damage, but only after crossing the Upgrade 8 threshold, where he can start using his Draconic Chaos and Pryoclasmic Sphere attacks.

Cursed Fighter

• Type: Ground
• Cost: 800

Here’s the best support unit in Anime Defenders, specifically a debuff type of unit. All of his skills apply debuffs to enemies, including Cursed Pebble Throw, Convergent Fist, and Dark Flash. These attacks apply vulnerability status effects on enemies, making all your DPS attacks deal 15% more damage.

Pink Rockstar

• Type: Ground
• Cost: 800

Finally, here’s another support unit that I’d definitely combine with the Cursed Fighter. Pink Rockstar is primarily a buffer supporter who can increase the damage of all allies by 20%. The main reason why I included her in this list is that her buff skills function like AoE, covering a certain range around her.
