Slay the Princess All Endings

The main two chapters of the game have 11 endings with definite outcomes, or 13 endings depending on whether you consider the Stranger ending viable for both cases of the armed and unarmed players. There are also plenty of additional chapters and routes that come after these endings, but since they’re not part of the main story, I won’t list them here.

  1. Rescue the Princess.
  2. Resist the Narrator.
  3. End the game with her as a prisoner.

Tower Ending

There are two possible ways of achieving this ending. The first is the following:

  1. Rescue the Princess.
  2. Fail to resist the Narrator.
  3. End the game with her in the tower.

You can also achieve it by doing this:

  1. Attack the Princess after hesitating for too long.
  2. Give up if you can’t slay the Princess.
  3. End the game with her in the tower.

Adversary Ending

  1. Attack the Princess after hesitating for too long.
  2. Keep fighting until you manage to slay the Princess.
  3. End the game as the Princess’ adversary.

Razor Ending

This ending also has two possible routes. The first one involves the following steps:

  1. Before attacking the Princess, wonder if she’s armed.
  2. End the game by being unexpectedly killed by a hidden razor in the Princess’ arm.

There’s another way to achieve this ending:

  1. Attack and slay the Princess without hesitation.
  2. Wonder if the Princess is dead.
  3. End the game by being unexpectedly killed by a hidden razor in the Princess’ arm.

Spectre Ending

  1. Attack and slay the Princess without hesitation.
  2. Don’t wonder if the Princess is dead.

This ending can be achieved in two different ways. Here’s the first one:

  1. Rescue the Princess.
  2. Stab her in the back.
  3. After retrieving the blade, don’t close the door.

Another possibility is the following:

  3. Watch her turn into a witch.

Beast Ending

This ending also has two possible routes:

  1. Once the blade drops into a cell, attack the Princess.
  2. Fail to slay her.

Slay the Princess Good Ending

I’ve already covered the good ending in short, but it’s also possible to take a few extra steps and achieve the happy end in the game. Here’s what you need to do to get the actual good ending in Slay the Princess:

  1. Follow the Good ending steps listed above.
  2. Refuse the Narrator to slay your character.
  3. The Narrator will congratulate you for saving the world.
  4. You’ll receive a reward of a poorly drawn ending card.

Slay the Princess True Ending

There’s no true ending in Slay the Princess per se, as all endings can be considered the actual end of the game. Some players believe that the good ending is the actual true ending, while others may have differing opinions. But I personally think that the Adversary route with extra steps can lead to what I would call a “true ending.” Here’s how you can achieve it:

  1. Follow the Adversary ending steps listed above.
  2. Drop the blade to become unarmed.
  3. Refuse to fight the Princess.
  4. As a reward, receive the Voice of Contrarian.
  5. Use it to foil the Princess during the Stranger ending.

Slay the Princess Best Ending

Once again, each player decides which ending is the best, but here are a few that I consider the best ending from the list above to be the Damsel ending. This is the most romantic ending of all, and it follows the classic trope of “damsel in distress,” where a prince saves the princess, and they live happily ever after.

That’s everything I wanted to tell you about all the endings in Slay the Princess. Stay tuned for more StP tips and tricks articles right here.
