Best Weapons in Solo Leveling: ARISE Ranked

SS-Tier Weapons

The Huntsman

  • Max Damage: 1695.24%
  • Ult. Cooldown: 25 sec
  • Ult. MP Consumption: 229

Ranged weapons are the best when it comes to dealing damage and staying safe. The Huntsman is by far the best ranged weapon in the game, with its incredibly powerful Judgement Time ability. It allows you to increase your damage drastically the closer you stand to the enemy. I also like its Sunder ability, which increases the break effect by 25%. Note that you can get this weapon only via Special Draw Tickets or Selection Draw Tickets.

Demonic Plum Flower Sword

  • Max Damage: 1969.11%
  • Ult. Cooldown: 25 sec
  • Ult. MP Consumption: 229

If you’re more into melee weapons, then there’s no better option than this dark sword, which hits even harder than The Huntsman, but you do need to come close to the enemy. It possesses a devastating critical damage potential, especially when using its Swift Flight ability, which stacks critical hits up to three times. When using this skill, I can synergize it with the Amplifying Draw effect, which ultimately adds another 32% bonus to all critical damage.

S-Tier Weapons

Thethis’ Grimoire

  • Max Damage: 2172.6%
  • Ult. Cooldown: 25 sec
  • Ult. MP Consumption: 229

This magic weapon offers amazing evasive opportunities, with its Cold Ice ability, which freezes and interrupts any and all enemy attacks. It gives you as much as 4 seconds, which is more than enough to either retreat or change your position to a more favorable one. I’d also like to point out another skill, which is Deep Erosion that can be very helpful. It basically weakens enemies, so that your attacks deal up to 24% more damage than usual. But the freezing skill alone makes the Thethis’ Grimoire a totally broken weapon.

Shadow Scythe

  • Max Damage: 2224.62%
  • Ult. Cooldown: 25 sec
  • Ult. MP Consumption: 229

If you like critical damage on your melee weapon, then the best alternative to the Demonic Plum Flower Sword would be the Shadow Scythe. However, I can’t exactly place it at the SS-tier, as its Essence Harvest skill needs to consume 5% of your HP to increase your skill damage by 100%. It also requires your HP to drop below 70% if you want to use the Edge of Darkness ability, which increases your critical hit rate by 25%. But other than that, it’s an extremely powerful weapon that can be obtained completely for free by simply completing the first challenge of Chapter Nine.

West Wind

  • Max Damage: 1741.14%
  • Ult. Cooldown: 17 sec
  • Ult. MP Consumption: 172

Here’s one of the best alternatives to The Huntsman, which is a sniper rifle that deals more damage the further you stay away from the target. Its best ability is the Secret Bullet, which by default increases your damage by 75% if you keep your distance from the enemies by at least 5 meters. But if I need to increase the damage bonus, all I need to do is get three consecutive successful hits. Then, the Secret Bullet will hit for another 30% extra damage, which can be stacked up to five times.

A-Tier Weapons

Moonshadow

  • Max Damage: 2212.38%
  • Ult. Cooldown: 25 sec
  • Ult. MP Consumption: 229

Moonshadow is another terrific dark melee weapon that can easily compete with both the Demonic Plum Flower Sword and Shadow Scythe in terms of damage. But when it comes to special skills, Moonshadow’s own Lunar Eclipse increases your damage only by 15%. Of course, there’s more to it than just that, especially if you combine it with the Full Moon effect. Together, they enhance the duration of the damage bonus infinitely, which is very useful in prolonged battles against harder bosses.

Demon King’s Longsword

  • Max Damage: 2249.1%
  • Ult. Cooldown: 25 sec
  • Ult. MP Consumption: 229

This is a great weapon for any support character or for mains who prefer defense over extra damage. This sword can generate a shield that’s equal to a character’s 30% HP. But it also has a nice AoE attack called Storm of White Flames, which summons lightning that strikes all enemies within the area of effect. Alternatively, you could use a single-target lightning attack called Stroke of Lightning, which hits for 50% of base damage, which isn’t bad at all. But, as I already mentioned, it’s all about the defensive qualities of this weapon.

Orb of Avarice

  • Max Damage: 1542.24%
  • Ult. Cooldown: 17 sec
  • Ult. MP Consumption: 172

The Orb of Avarice isn’t a particularly strong weapon on its own, but it can serve as a terrific magic-enhancing item in the right hands. For example, most similar items in the game will boost your magic by only 50%, while the Orb of Avarice can go as high as up to 100% using its Purgatory ability. However, I must warn you that this skill will increase your MP consumption by another 10%.

B-Tier Weapons

Kasaka’s Venom Fang

  • Max Damage: 1272.96%
  • Ult. Cooldown: 17 sec
  • Ult. MP Consumption: 172

The base damage of this pair of daggers isn’t very high, but Kasaka’s Venom Fang has a high chance of inflicting Bleed and Paralyze status effects on enemies. This not only increases the overall damage but also weakens your foes. On top of that, I can summon Kasaka’s Venom pool of poisonous liquid, which deals additional damage within its area of effect.

Radiru Family’s Longbow

  • Max Damage: 1383.12%
  • Ult. Cooldown: 17 sec
  • Ult. MP Consumption: 172

Bows are typically not as effective as firearms in Solo Leveling: ARISE, but the Radiru Family’s Longbow has access to special Flash of Light arrows. They’re particularly effective against enemy armor, having a 50% chance of ignoring and piercing through it. If this arrow successfully hits the target, it’ll be stunned, which makes this bow a great support weapon for any party.

Vulcan’s Rage

  • Max Damage: 1831.41%
  • Ult. Cooldown: 25 sec
  • Ult. MP Consumption: 229

Vulcan’s Rage is one of the few weapons with defensive abilities, which makes it a solid alternative to the Demon King’s Longsword. But instead of creating a shield, it applies the Vulcan’s Blessing, which eventually explodes into an AoE attack, dealing 300% damage to all enemies within the area of effect. But since the base damage of Vulcan’s Rage is lower than usual for an SSR rarity weapon, I decided to put it in the B-tier.

That’s it for my tier list of the best weapons in Solo Leveling: ARISE. Stay tuned for more SLA tips and tricks articles right here.
