Summit Temple Location and Weapons in Fortnite

Collect some weapons at this landmark location!

For this weekly quest in Fortnite, we need to make our way to Summit Temple, a landmark location, and collect some weapons. You might remember this location from your search for cabbage carts, but here’s where to find it again and pinpoint some weapons immediately.

How to Collect Weapons at the Summit Temple in Fortnite

The first step to completing this quest is figuring out where Summit Temple is. Since it’s not a named location, it will appear less clearly on your map. However, you’ll find it on the eastern side of the map.

Where is Summit Temple in Fortnite?

It sits right at the edge of the desert biome, just northeast of Mount Olympus. As you get closer, you’ll notice it more easily since it’s a tall temple that resembles the buildings in Mount Olympus and Brawler’s Battleground. You can land anywhere here to start searching for some weapons.

Where to Find Weapons at Summit Temple

You can find weapons in chests, God Chests, as ground loot, or as Bending Scrolls at Summit Temple. This makes it much easier to finish off these quests since there are lots of options. To make it even easier for you, here’s a look at where all the chests can spawn at Summit Temple:

These are spots that the chests can spawn in each round. That doesn’t mean they will all be there every time, however. Usually, you’re lucky to find two or three at the most. Along with the regular chests, there’s also a chance of a God Chest spawning there, which will drop rarer loot.

It doesn’t matter what rarity the weapon is, but it needs to be a weapon-type item. This means guns, explosives, God Items, Bending Scrolls, etc. Any item that you use to damage an opponent.

For it to count toward your quest, all you need to do is pick it up one time (X, Square, or E). You don’t need to keep it in your inventory. The nice part about this is that you can drop any weapon you might have picked up at a different location and pick it up again for it to count toward your 12.

Once you pick up 12 weapons, you’ll complete the quest. Then, you can reorganize your loadout how you like, and hopefully have a lot of good options to choose from.
