There are 85 biomes in the Biomes o Plenty mod for Minecraft, which is one of the oldest mods for the game. It keeps evolving, adding more biomes each year. Here, I list the top 25 best Biomes o Plenty Minecraft seeds, with all biomes appearing right at spawn.

Spawn in a gorgeous flower field with a village and an exposed ruined portal standing next to a lush forest. If you like dense foliage with mobs spawning under the trees during the daytime, then this could be a great way to spend time. But if you wish to expand construction, then this may require a lot of clearing for buildings and pathways, which is much more time-consuming.

Here’s the biome for all those players who prefer flat terrain and lots of food and seed resources. This new and revamped overgrown greens biome doesn’t include as many oak tree bushes as before, which may or may not add to your survival gameplay. In either case, you can get enough wood from the nearby redwood forest, but be wary of the possible hostile mobs.

Lavender field biome is very rare in the Biomes O Plenty mod, but in this seed, I found one of the largest lavender valleys at spawn that I’ve ever seen. On top of that, you get a village and a patch of cherry blossom trees, which perfectly combine pink and purple colors of the two adjacent biomes. The rest of the area consists mostly of prairie biome.

Don’t let the sight of the dead trees trick you, as this dead forest biome is very useful, providing players with plenty of solid wood blocks. However, I must warn you that there’s a possibility of the biters spawning. These are new types of zombies that may spawn in the old growth dead forest biomes. But it’s always cool to face new challenges!

Villages don’t spawn in the maple forest, so I decided to find a seed with a village nearby. Here, I spawned on a survival island with a village and exposed ruined portal nearby. There’s also a maple forest right across the channel, which offers the best usable soil in the game and can be used for creating lots of farms very easily, having such a moderate tree density.

It’s hard to find all three desert biomes in the same spot, but I was lucky enough to get one at spawn with a village. As expected, you’ll find lots and lots of relics here, as well as dune grass, sea oats, and acacia brush trees. What I like the most about the lush desert biome in this Minecraft mod is that it actually allows for rain, which is impossible to get in the vanilla version of the game.

Lavender biomes are rare, and even if they generate, they do so only in small patches. Here, you’ll spawn next to a village standing in the lavender field with some trees, a lake, and an exposed dripstone cave below. The Jacaranda trees that grow in this biome can be stripped of bark and grown like that, creating their barkless versions. This opens up an opportunity for one of the most unusual farms in Minecraft, but be sure to follow the procedure properly, as the number of original trees is limited.

If you’re looking for something especially rare, then be sure to check out this Biomes o Plenty seed for some volcanic plains. This biome can’t grow anything in terms of crops, but there’s a thin layer of grass covering it. The wasteland area is as desolate as you would expect, but fortunately, there’s also a rainforest nearby to satisfy any need for resources.

Imagine having an entire survival island at spawn with lavender trees and flowering oak trees all to yourself. Each one of these biomes isn’t just rare; they’re also very hard to find as a combo on an island. Besides the wonderful variety of trees, I was also able to find rose bushes, sprouts, dandelions, poppies, and oxeye daisies in this biome.

While searching for rare biomes in the Biomes o Plenty mod, it’s also important not to forget about the more common biomes, such as prairie and regular forest. In this seed, I spawned in an island village with a blacksmith next to a variety of other survival islands with some interesting growth patterns, including such species as large brush oaks, tall grass, and frequent goldenrods.

This Minecraft seed will spawn you in one of the most desolate drylands I’ve ever encountered, with a huge number of exposed bone relics. The actual spawn point is located at the bottom of the ravine. Once you make yourself out of there, head over to coordinates X: 96 Z: -176 for a nice village on the ocean shore. I was also able to spot a desert temple at coordinates X: -200 Z: -136.

If you enjoy a combination of thick forestry, damp swamps, lush flowery fields, and high mountains, then this Minecraft seed will be perfect. You get every imaginable green biome in the Biomes O Plenty mod here, including a village at coordinates X: -176 Z: -272. This is such a great start for any survival game, especially if you can dig up some trail ruins at coordinates X: -418 Y: 72 Z: -478.

You’ll spawn in a rather flat and woodless scrubland biome with not much in sight. But if you travel to coordinates X: -272 Z: 320, you’ll find a village in the Mediterranean forest with all sorts of trees, bushes, bush plants, and even podzols. There’s also a nice little lake near the village and a pillager outpost at coordinates X: -752 Z: 240, although I wouldn’t go there too soon.

Here’s one of the better farming Minecraft seeds in the Biomes O Plenty mod with tons of naturally-generated barley near the village at coordinates X: -384 Z: 176. The redwood forest nearby helps with the survival aspect with its enormous trees. Once you settle and are ready to take on more challenges, travel to coordinates X: 48 Z: -352 for a pillager outpost and find another village on the ocean shore at coordinates X: -432 Z: -368.

If you’re looking for rare biomes, then be sure to locate a village at coordinates X: -320 Z: -272, which stands right next to a patch of old-growth woodland. This is a rare variant of the regular woodland biome that has much larger trees, and they’re also more plentiful. The floodplain biome is now also less frequent, and you can find it only around rainforests these days, as it doesn’t appear on its own anymore.

Spawn in one of my favorite biomes with pear-shaped trees, flowering oak bushes, bush plants, and peonies. There’s plenty of calcite here, as well as podzol blocks. I discovered that at one point, this biome was called the “Grove,” but since grove was introduced as a totally different thing in vanilla Minecraft, this forest got renamed.

If you like redwood and mahogany trees, then this seed should be perfect for you, as it combines several new biomes. My favorite part about the rainforest is that it’s covered with seagrass and watergrass, while the water surfaces have lilypads, which make things look so much nicer.

Here’s one of the rarest biomes I could find at spawn in Biomes o Plenty mod: the ominous woods. It features tall purple umbran trees and withers roses, which create an eerie atmosphere. This is a great biome for spooky Minecraft servers or scary modpacks.

An orchard forest is another one of the rarest biomes that features tiny, flowering oak trees. This biome includes a dense variety of plants and flowers, including rose bushes, sprouts, dandelions, poppies, and oxeye daisies. But there’s also a small patch of lavender, although only with one flowering oak tree.

But let’s get a look at more inhospitable biomes, such as wasteland, which is made up of dried salt. The only plants I managed to find here were dead grass and desert grass. The one good thing about this biome is that no hostile mobs spawn here during the daytime. Fortunately, there’s also a lush savanna at spawn with some poppies and rose bushes, although I wasn’t able to find any proper wood here.

One of the best farming biomes in the Biomes o Plenty mod is the pasture, which is almost exclusively covered in barley. I also spotted some goldenrods and tall grass here, but again, there were no trees. So, if you’re looking for a very flat area with lots of farming capabilities, then I can’t recommend any other biome more than this one.

Imagine my surprise when I discovered a whole patch of dark grass at spawn, which is the main element of the very rare volcanic plains biome. Typically, it generates only around volcanoes or lava pools, but here, I found none, at least on the surface. Note that you won’t be able to farm anything in this biome, as nothing will grow in the volcanic plains biome.

One of the most unusual biomes in the Biomes o Plenty mod is definitely the crag. It’s very similar to a more common highland biome, but crag consists of a whole slew of blocks, including cobblestone, andesite, and stone mixed into the grassy surface. Although animals can spawn here, such as cows and sheep, I wouldn’t recommend farming on the crags, as they’ll have a hard time growing.

The older version of the overgrown greens biome has been replaced with a new one, where instead of the oak tree bushes, you’ll find tall marsh grass growing on the cliffsides. This biome is truly unique in its presentation, and if you manage to find a village in such a biome, it’ll have a very distinct look. I also found a large patch of redwood trees at spawn, as the overgrown greens biome typically has no wood.
