Here's how to unlock all hidden or requirement-based items in The Sims 4.

There are certain items that are restricted in The Sims 4. Whether they’re career locked, come as a reward for completing a milestone, or just aren’t available in buy mode, there are loads of things you may want to use that are hidden away. Here’s how to unlock all items, allowing you to play with them in your game without having to complete the requirements beforehand.

Unlocking All Items on PC

You’ll need to use a cheat to unlock all items in The Sims 4. To do this, follow these steps:

  • Press Ctrl, Shift, and C at the same time to open the command console.
  • Once the console is open, input testingcheats true and hit Enter. This enables cheats to work in The Sims 4
  • Next, enter bb.ignoregameplayunlocksentitlement in the console and hit Enter.
  • For Build mode only objects, enter bb.showliveeditobjects.

Now all items will be unlocked and available to use in the game.

How to Unlock All Items on PlayStation

  • Press  R1, R2, L1, and L2 at the same time to open the command console. 
  • Once the console is open, enter in testingcheats true 
  • Next, enter bb.ignoregameplayunlocksentitlement in the console
  • For Build mode only objects, enter bb.showliveeditobjects

Unlocking All Items on Xbox

  • Press  RB, RT, LB, and LT at the same time to open the command console 
  • Once the console is open, enter in testingcheats true 
  • Next you want to enter bb.ignoregameplayunlocksentitlement in the console
  • For Build mode only objects enter bb.showliveeditobjects instead
