If you’re getting bored with your current survival world, then it’s time to load up this fantastic Minecraft seed. You spawn inside the ring mountain with a village and a blacksmith. Neatly, there’s a forest and a cherry blossom grove nearby, too, adding to the allure of this seed. To top it off, there’s also an ancient city at coordinates X: 72 Y: -51 Z: -296, which is just a skip and a jump away from spawn.

In this MC seed, you’ll spawn on a lakeshore with a village that has an exposed shipwreck beached amongst the huts. This is a great start for any game, as you gain access to several treasure chests full of loot from the get-go. And believe me, you can’t go wrong with that. To make things even better, there’s also a ravine in the village with quick access to mining materials, too!

Here, you’ll spawn on a beach with an ocean monument very close by at coordinates X: 88 Z: 152. If you turn eastward, you’ll end up at a mushroom island at coordinates X: 264 Z: -264. And if you turn westward, you’ll arrive at a double village at coordinates X: -416 Z: -224. If I were ranking each of these 1.20.5 seeds, I’d put this one near the top — if not at the top.

There’s always a chance to find a village on land in any Minecraft biome, but what about settlements on the water, drifting near the mainland but recreating their very own Waterworld? This seed has just that, with one of the most unique villages in the game (and I’ve covered a lot of Minecraft seeds; believe me when I say this is a treat!). Just head to coordinates X: 144 Z: 208. The best part about it is that it’s naturally protected by water to keep it safe from mobs — and it has a blacksmith.

Finding a double dungeon is as rare as it gets in Minecraft. But finding it next to your spawn point is even rarer. The best part is that this seed also provides you with plenty of resources to get there, as there’s not one but two villages near spawn at coordinates X: 112 Z: -192 and X: -256 Z: 128.

I found them at coordinates X: -480 Z: 144 and X: -736 Z: 320, and what I really like about this seed is that both villages are perfectly separated by a river, adding a lot of character for a building a little hamlet with a base.

Here, you’ll spawn on another beach, but the main attraction of this 1.20.5 seeds isn’t where you initially find yourself, but out in the ocean. Swim north to find a tiny survival island with a really small acacia village at coordinates X: 16 Z: -240. There are only a few huts and a single farm, but it’s more than enough to start a solid survival game as a castaway at sea.

I wouldn’t want to be in a situation like this, but when you have no other options, it’s better to adapt to the circumstances. This seed spawns you near a village with an exposed ruined portal at coordinates X: -496 Z: 208. You’ll need to restore it and enter the nether to find a fortress at coordinates X: -661 Z: 331.This is one of the more challenging seeds on this list, but it can be rewarding if you implement the right strategy.

I’d contend that cold biomes are even more challenging than Nether ones, but they also offer some fun, often unexpected, opportunities. I found an igloo with a basement, which is great for any survival game, and a village hiding in the trees right behind it.

In this 1.20.5 seed, you’ll spawn in the forest with seemingly nothing of note or importance around. But you’d be wrong to think that! Not only is the forest serene and a great place to build a base of mansion, there’s actually a wonderful cliff village not far away at coordinates X: -400 Z: 144. It stands right next to a patch of cherry blossom trees, another great place to set up shop.

Here, you’ll spawn at the foot of a massive mountain with two villages at coordinates X: 64 Z: -192 and X: -304 Z: 176. But the best point of interest in this MC seed is located at coordinates X: 1,672 Y: -51 Z: 952. That’s where you’ll find a stronghold near an ancient city!

I was really happy to find such a location at coordinates X: 400 Z: -960 in this seed, opening up some very interesting build opportunities that didn’t require too much effort.

If you ever wanted to see pillagers and illagers battle against each other, here’s the perfect chance. There’s a woodland mansion at coordinates X: 584 Z: 504 with a pillager outpost glitched right into the wall. It’s quite entertaining to watch what happens next, and it’s a seed worth visiting if to only watch the chaos ensue.

Badlands rarely have extremely tall mountains. But when they merge with stony peaks, the sky’s the limit. In this seed, you also get a nice acacia village at spawn, which has those unique mountains in the background. It’s really one of the more beautiful Minecraft seeds I’ve encountered, and it’s one you shouldn’t sleep on if you want to build an eye-catching base.

Sometimes it takes hours before you can find a single jungle temple in a Minecraft seed, and frankly — no one has time for that. Here, I was able to spot one right at spawn near a village that stands at coordinates X: 32 Z: 160. If you still have trouble reaching the temple, then use these coordinates X: 8 Z: -232 to get inside.

If you load this survival Minecraft seed and check out the village at coordinates X: 176 Z: 272, you may not see anything unusual about it at first. On the surface, it’s just a regular, non-descript village. But be sure to take a look at a small cave nearby, where you’ll see one of the huts underground getting flooded with water and lava.

There are several benefits to having a starting village on a river (X: 0 Z: -352). First, you don’t need to bother with irrigation systems when farming food. Second, there’s always a patch of trees nearby for extra resources, especially useful if you want to build with wood. Lastly, you can easily obtain seagrass to breed turtles, making this seed one of the better ones from 1.20.5 so far.
