If you’re eagerly awaiting the new COD: Modern Warfare 3 update like we are, you don’t have to wait in the dark any longer. You can start clearing up some space and preparing to jump into the action. Here are all the update sizes for MW3 Season 2 Reloaded!
Call of Duty MW3 Season 2 Update Sizes – All Platforms
The Season 2 update promises tons of exciting new content for MW3. There will be new and revamped maps, Bounty and Juggermosh modes, and plenty of fresh features for our favorite mode, Zombies. This also means you’re going to want to clear up some space to download the update as it rolls out. Here is how much space you’ll need on all available platforms.
MW3 Season 2 PlayStation Update Size
The PlayStation update was one of the first to pop up for players. It takes up about 19 GB of space, which is a pretty hefty amount for an update. However, depending on the speed of your download, it should only take 10-15 minutes if your speed is between 150 to 250 Mbps (megabits per second).
MW3 Season 2 PC Update Size
If you’re playing on a PC, the download size is just a tiny bit less—around 17GB. You can pre-load this ahead of the update launch, the same as on the console, which will save you some wait time!
MW3 Season 2 Xbox Update Size
The Xbox update size has yet to be revealed, but we are expecting it to be around the same as PlayStation. We will update this section as soon as possible.
Once you have space on your preferred platform, start preloading the game so you can hop in as soon as the update drops. The launch is around 9 a.m. PT, 12 p.m. EST, and 5 p.m. GMT.
