If you're wondering what to donate at the Stormshore Tabernacle in Baldur's Gate 3 to get the daily buff, here's a detailed walkthrough.

Besides picking up some superb Cleric and Paladin-themed items, the Stormshore Tabernacle is also where you can pray to your deity. This is done through offerings that can grant you a daily defensive buff. Here’s what to offer to the gods at the Stormshore Tabernacle in Baldur’s Gate 3.

What to Donate at the Stormshore Tabernacle in Baldur’s Gate 3

Stormshore Tabernacle donations can be offered to any deity. An appropriate donation in gold gets you the Anointed in Splendor buff, which boosts all Saving Throws by +2 daily. Selune, Mystra, Helm, and Tyr have their own statues, while other gods share the Statue of the Gods. To make an offering, follow these steps: Approach the statue of the god you want to pray to -> interact with it -> select the “offering” option -> make a donation in gold.

What Each Stormshore Tabernacle Donation Level Costs

The cost in gold for each blessing from the gods scales with your level:

  • Level 1: 400
  • Level 2: 500
  • Level 3: 600
  • Level 4: 800
  • Level 5: 1000
  • Level 6: 1400
  • Level 7: 1800
  • Level 8: 2400
  • Level 9: 3000
  • Level 10: 3600
  • Level 11: 4500
  • Level 12: 4500 (5000 on Tactician)

A single donation gives you the aforementioned buff, which boosts Saving Throws by +2 daily. While the buff can be pricey, I recommend going to the Tabernacle after each Long Rest since you can renew the buff for free each day. I found that it’s incredibly worth it since there are a lot of nasty Saving Throw-based spells in Act 3.

Stormshore Tabernacle Buff Exploit: The Cheapest Way to Get the Buff

If the gold donation is too steep for you, I discovered an exploit to make it cheaper. I found out that you can Respec at Withers to become Level 1, then you can make a 400 gold donation instead of the expensive level-appropriate one at any statue. Finally, level back to your standard level. This is a cheap way to get the Anointed in Splendor daily buff. To renew it, pray to the same statue each day. Only one character can get the buff per donation, so if you want to spread it around your party, you’ll have to make multiple offerings.

Additionally, you can also steal back the donations you made and also get a powerful amulet. This is done by sneaking into the trap door to the left of the Selune statue. Check out our guide on how to get the Amulet of the Devout to do this. Your donations will be in the chest where the Amulet is.

That’s what to offer to the gods at the Stormshore Tabernacle in Baldur’s Gate 3. For more BG3 guides, check out the best Cleric and Paladin gear as well as the best Cleric spells.
