House Flipper 2 PS5 and Xbox Release Date

House Flipper 2 is the long-awaited sequel to House Flipper. In it, you can clean up, renovate, and design your own spaces in the most immersive way possible. It was released for PC in December 2023, but console players have had to wait much longer. The console release was set for March 21st, 2024, but then was delayed for another three weeks.

After that delay, the team finally announced an official release for Xbox and PS5, scheduled for April 10, 2024. Even though it’s disappointing that we have to wait even longer, this release time will allow the devs to incorporate the Spring and April Fool updates into the console versions upon release.

Why was House Flipper 2 Delayed For Consoles?

Although the team has yet to go into much detail about why the console version of House Flipper 2 was delayed, it’s no doubt so they can ensure the game runs as intended. They’ve stated that synchronizing console and PC content is a priority for them, which they couldn’t do before, but hope to do now by releasing it along with the Spring updates. Since it’s a detail-oriented game with many different tools and functions, they most likely want to optimize it as much as possible for each platform. Hopefully, this means we will see fewer bugs (except for maybe literal bugs to clean up) when it does arrive.

Will House Flipper 2 Be On Game Pass?

Even though the first game is on Game Pass, the sequel is not going to Game Pass upon release. Players will have to purchase the game via the Microsoft or Sony shops, which will cost about the same as Steam, around $40. However, that doesn’t mean it won’t eventually make its way to Game Pass in the future. Time will tell.

Thankfully, we won’t have to wait too much longer to enjoy this game on console. It will be worth the wait!
