When you’re leveling and start picking up dungeon quests, it helps to gather them all before doing the dungeon. This is especially true on Hardcore servers where death is permanent, making dungeons that much more dangerous. Here are all the Deadmines quests in WoW Classic: Season of Discovery and Hardcore.
A Full List of Deadmines Quests in WoW Classic Season of Discovery and Hardcore
There are a total of six quests you can do in the Deadmines, but they’re all Alliance only.
- Red Silk Bandanas: Obtained from Scout Riell at (56, 47) in Westfall.
- Requires you to complete the quest Red Leather Bandanas, which starts from Scout Galiaan at (54, 52) in Westfall.
- Requires you to complete the quest The Defias Brotherhood, which starts from The Defias Traitor at (55, 47) in Westfall.
- Collecting Memories: Obtained from Wilder Thistlenettle at (65, 21) in Stormwind City.
- Oh Brother…: Obtained from Wilder Thistlenettle at (65, 21) in Stormwind City.
- Underground Assault: Obtained from Shoni the Silent at (55, 12) in Stormwind City.
- The Defias Brotherhood: Obtained from Gryan Stoutmantle at (56, 47) in Westfall.
- Requires you complete the quest The Defias Brotherhood, which starts from The Defias Traitor at (55, 47) in Westfall.
- The Unsent Letter: Obtained from Edwin VanCleef’s body at the end of the Deadmines.
For The Unsent Letter, you pick up a letter when looting VanCleef at the end. Then, the quest takes place throughout Stormwind City, so you don’t have to head back into the Deadmines for it. So, while it’s not exactly a quest for the Deadmines, I still included it since it’s connected to the dungeon.

While you can start grabbing quests at Level 14, you want to wait until at least Level 18 to head inside the Deadmines.
