For WoW Season of Discovery Phase 1, Blackfathom Deeps is endgame content. However, you might want to grab what quests you can ahead of time to get the most out of your run. Here are all Blackfathom Deeps quests in World of Warcraft Classic Season of Discovery.

Most BFD quests can be done by either faction, but there are a few that are limited to Horde or Alliance only. Also, remember that since this is endgame content, you must be Level 25 to head inside.
All Faction-Neutral Blackfathom Deeps Quests and Faction Details
Heart of the Void
Heart of the Void starts when you pick up the Perfect Blackfathom Pearl from Aku’mai when he dies. Because there are a few quests that require you to pick up an item, I recommend clearing out your inventory as much as possible before you enter the raid. Otherwise, you might end up juggling items to make space for quest items. But after you grab this quest, your turn-in point and rewards depend on your faction.
- Alliance: Turn in the Pearl to Dawnwatcher Selgorm in Darnassus (56, 24), and you receive 200 Reputation for Ironforge, Darnassus, and Stormwind. You’ll get to pick between the Acolyte’s Void Pearl, Invoker’s Void Pearl, or Avenger’s Void Pearl.
- Horde: Turn in the Pearl to Bashana Runetotem in Thunder Bluff (71, 33), and you receive 200 Reputation for Thunder Bluff, Orgrimmar, and Undercity. You also get the choice between Acolyte’s Void Pearl, Invoker’s Void Pearl, or Avenger’s Void Pearl.
Baron Aquanis
Baron Aquanis is picked up before you enter BFD, and you’ll grab it from different places depending on your faction. However, the task is the same. Pick up the Strange Water Globe after killing Baron Aquanis and return it to the NPC who gave you the quest.
- Alliance: Picked up from Davius Voidstar in Darkshore (37, 44). You’ll be rewarded with 150 Reputation for Darkspear Trolls, and 200 Reputation for Ironforge, Darnassus, and Stormwind. You also get a portal from Auberdine to Zorem Strand.
- Horde: Picked up from Je’neu Sancrea in Ashenvale (12, 34). You’ll be rewarded with 150 Reputation for Darkspear Trolls and 200 Reputation for Thunder Bluff. You also get to choose an Outlaw Sabre or Witch’s Finger.
Blackfathom Villainy
Blackfathom Villainy is picked up from the same NPC for both factions: Argent Guard Thaelrid, who’s found in BFD to the Southwest of Gamoo-ra’s island. However, you turn them in to NPCs in different locations. Your task is to kill Twilight Lord Kelris and take his head to an NPC for rewards.
- Alliance: Turn into Dawnwatcher Selgorm in Darnassus (56, 24). You’ll receive 200 Reputation with the Argent Dawn and Darnassus. You also get the choice between the Inscribed Gravestone Scepter or the Ancient Arctic Buckler.
- Horde: Turn into Bashana Runetotem in Thunder Bluff (71, 33). As a reward, you get 200 Reputation with the Argent Dawn and Thunder Bluff. And like the Alliance, you get to choose between the Inscribed Gravestone Scepter or the Ancient Arctic Buckler.

Allegiance to the Old Gods
You can pick Allegiance to the Old Gods up from Je’neu Sancrea, who’s at the Zoram’gar Outpost in Ashenvale (11, 34). The task is to defeat Lorgus Jett in BFD and return to Je’neu. As a reward, you’ll get 150 Reputation with Darkspear Trolls and your choice of Band of the Iron Fist or Frayed Chestnut Mantle.

Knowledge in the Deeps
You’ll grab Knowledge in the Deeps from Gerrig Bonegrip in Ironforge (51, 6). He wants you to bring him the Lorgalis Manuscript from BFD and return it to him. The manuscript is located in a chest to the north of Ghamoo-ra’s island. As a reward, you’ll receive 50 Reputation with Ironforge and the Ever-Sustaining Ring.
Researching the Corruption
The Researching the Corruption quest comes from Gershala Nightwhisper in Auberdine, Darkshore (38, 43). Your task is to collect 8 Corrupt Brain Stems which are dropped from Satyr and Naga in BFD, and return to Gershala. As a reward, you’ll receive 150 Reputation with Darnassus and your choice of either the Chittering Beetle Clasps or Worn Prelacy Cape.
Twilight Falls
Twilight Falls is picked up from Argent Guard Manados in Darnassus (55, 24). He wants you to gather 10 Twilight Pendants, which drop from members of Twilight’s Hammer in BFD, and then give the pendants to him. In exchange, you’ll receive 150 Reputation with Argent Dawn and Darnasuss and your choice of either the Nimbus Boots of Insight or Tender’s Heartwood Girdle.
